Evan Luck is a dragon rider with no dragon. Lee is the only person in the city who doesn’t blame Evan for his dragon’s death, and he welcomes Evan into his own little family. There’s more to Lee than meets the eye, though, and between his refusal to talk about himself, pressure from the mayor to split them up, and a monster attacking the city’s foundations, Evan isn’t sure he’ll live long enough to learn the truth.

But not learning the truth will almost certainly be fatal to Evan and Lee’s budding relationship and to the entire city.

This gives me all the feels. Evan is so sweet and badass, and he deserves all the good things. I love this book so much! Lee is sooo cool! I love him and Jason.

Michael Ferraiuolo's voice is so sexy! Wow! I love how he can make his voice smarmy for the bad guy too. He's like a whole cast of people in one. He's so amazingly talented.

I'm happy this is narrated by a person because I won't listen to ai or virtual voice.

I liked this story and the world was very interesting, but the fact that it was so short made the romance feel a little rushed. Definitely worth listening to though!

This book is more like a collection of semi-related small events. and most of it is tied up in exposition. There was skillful writing, but the book left me disinterested and really i can't tell you what happened in the story.

There is good writing, but asomewhat boring story.
