Publisher's summary

The Hunted series continues as Special Agent Sam Turner discovers that protecting the FBI's star witness is more difficult than he thought!

Bakery owner Elizabeth Hamilton's quiet life is filled with sweet treats, good friends, and a loving family. But all of that is about to turn sour when an odd sound draws her outside. There's a man lying unconscious in the street, a car speeding toward him. Without hesitation, she gets the man out of harm's way before they're run down.

Unwittingly, Elizabeth has put herself in the path of a serial murderer, and as the only one who can identify the FBI's Silver Fox Killer, she's ended up in the hospital with a target on her back.

All that stands between her and death is Special Agent Sam Turner. Against his better judgment, Sam gets emotionally involved, determined to take down the double threat against Elizabeth - an ex desperate to get her back, despite a restraining order, and a psychopath bent on silencing her before she can identify him.

They set a trap to catch the killer - putting Elizabeth in his hands, with Sam desperate to save her. If he's lucky, he'll get his man....and the girl.

Enjoyed the story. Characterization was good, story was solid and well told. Loved the suspense throughout.

This is the 2nd story in the Hunted series. It stands on its own, however is greatly enhanced when read in series order. Sam is Jack's (From Saved By The Rancher) twin brother. An FBI agent who's mission was compromised. While being severely attacked Elizabeth attempts to save him only to be severely injured herself. And so begins their journey to stay alive while attempting to catch the murderer.

I'm so Lucky to of found this Awesome Series :)

Any additional comments?

In book two of the Hunted series, Supper Yummy hero, Agent Sam Turner, (Jack's twin brother from book one) finds himself working on capturing serial killer, the Silver Fox... Heroine Elizabeth Hamilton is living her life quietly as a baker besides being the daughter of an esteemed judge. Without realizing what is happening, Elizabeth puts herself in the sights of the Silver Fox who puts her in the hospital. Hero Sam is only person who can protect and keep her safe though the chemistry between he and Elizabeth is smoking hot. Sam knows that a personal relationship between them is not appropriate, but what his heart wants is stronger than what his head wants....

Lucky like us is full of suspense. Jennifer Ryan has an abundance of talent. I loved the way she fully describes the Hot Sizzling Sex scenes while adding so much love into the mix. Coleen Marlo's narration brings everyone to life so perfectly... I am so enjoying this series and can't wait to start book three...

I love the Hunted Series!!!

Would you consider the audio edition of Lucky Like Us to be better than the print version?

I only listened to the Audio version. I really like Coleen Marlo's voice. She does men and women very well.

What other book might you compare Lucky Like Us to and why?

Chasing Morgan, was similar both with stories about the FBI and Hunky men.

What about Coleen Marlo’s performance did you like?

She has a sexy voice. Does men's and women's voices excellent, and the stories no matter the sex involved she can make you feel like your there.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Sexy FBI Agent and Action Packed Love Story.

Any additional comments?

I love pretty much all of Jennifer Ryan's stories.
