Publisher's summary

In this library, the books aren't the only thing worth checking out.... Alex has a job she likes, doing tech support at Cowling University, and a beautiful - if difficult - girlfriend, Jasmine. Life is good. That is until Alex's boss reassigns her to work in the university's saddest little library. Alex feels like she's been banished to a stuffy, quiet hell. Then Alex meets Cait, a living definition of "sexy librarian". She's hot, smart, and her accent is to die for. But Alex has a girlfriend she loves and a job to get done. When the library pushes back on the system updates Alex was sent to implement, Alex must work closely with Cait to find a solution. Can Alex stay professional and maintain her relationship with Jasmine while working side-by-side with the alluring librarian?

Fabulous Story & Narration🎧Captivating & Heartfelt

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it is well written with interesting storylines that are captivating from start to end. Natalie Falkenwrath has a way with words, some of the dialogue between characters was too funny at times. I liked that the characters were realistic and easy to relate to. Alex works tech support at Cowling University, she is outspoken, tells it like it is, her boss is not a fan of her. She gets reassigned to work at the University’s library. Her girlfriend Jasmine wants to see other people, afraid of losing her Alex agrees. I was disappointed in Alex for being a doormat in that relationship, she is outspoken at work yet she is afraid to tell Jasmine how she feels. Jasmine definitely does not deserve Alex. Alex was not happy with her new assignment, but she’ll make the best of it and it got even better after meeting Cait, the sexy librarian. I adored Cait, she had a great head on her shoulders, I thought she was great for Alex, the chemistry between them was smoking hot. The big cool down was Jasmine, I was happy that Alex finally grows a pair and tells her what she wants. I loved how everything plays out in this book, there is never a dull moment with plenty of drama, some angst, some laughs, some heartfelt moments and some hot ones too. Natalie Falkenwrath, thank you for this fabulous story and the emotional rollercoaster ride.

Lessa Lamb is a talented narrator and voice artist. She does an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life giving each their own voice and personality. She did an awesome Irish accent for Cait, great with some melodic lines too. You could hear how much heart she puts into her work as she captures the characters emotions and projects them into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Lessa Lamb, thank you for another fabulous listen, you are a star🌟

Great narration for this debut story!

Pretty darn good for a debut novel! I enjoyed the writing and the characters (well, not Jasmine) and will be looking for more from this author. Sex scenes were steamy, too! Lessa Lamb was the PERFECT narrator for this story. I loved her voice for Alex and Cait's Irish accent sounded great!

I was provided with the audio version in exchange for an honest review.

Sensational

Need a feel good vibe book and heart pumping story. This is it, fall into the voice of sensationalist which each character makes you feel for them or distrust them. A perfect Happily ever after to get lost in the stacks of mo ordinary librarians.

Librarians can be smart and sexy

This is the first book by this author for me and enjoyed it tremendously. The narrator Lessa Lamb is also new to me and she was terrific. Her Irish brogue was wonderful. Alex is in a one sided relationship and sometimes acts like a frat boy. Cait is your fantasy librarian come true. She is smart and sweet as well as being beautiful. I enjoyed seeing their friendship develop and blossom.

A Cute Story

I went into this one without really thinking too much about it. I needed a book that was going to be cute and made me smile. This one succeeded on both counts there. Lust in the Stacks was one of those books that was cute and easy reading and just had a really nice feeling throughout.

Lust in the Stacks tells the story of Alex who works for Cowling University in their IT department. Her boss doesn’t really like her and “banishes” her to the “saddest little library” as the synopsis says. She feels like she’s being punished and she mopes around. She tries to talk to her girlfriend about it but she’s not having any of it. And on top of that her girlfriend drops a bombshell on her. Trying to figure out life while also trying to get the librarians to get onboard with the new system and backups she was sent to install she meets Cait, a bombshell of a librarian but to Alex, she’s still a librarian.

I flew through this one, Lust in the Stacks was one of those books that even though I knew how it was going to end, the ending still surprised me a bit. I like a good HEA book and thankfully this was one of those. Even the “there’s going to be an eventual issue they’re going to run into” that all books like this have – this one wasn’t long or drawn out. Alex and Cait had an issue and it was resolved semi-quickly. It still added to the tension of the book and caused some other things to be discussed but it wasn’t unnecessarily long for no reason (other than word count).

Overall, Lust in the Stacks was an enjoyable audiobook that was exactly what the doctor ordered. Cute, funny, and overall a fun and enjoyable book. If you enjoy HEA LesFic books with interesting characters – this is definitely for you.

I have quite a nice listen

The story is simple and easy to follow... Alex is the least interesting character on the story but is an interesting POV. I enjoyed a lot the narration.

Worth a read!!

This is the first time I have read something from this author and found it to be charming. It had laughs, a little tears, little sex scenes and also happiness. The narrator Lessa was also very good. She did her accents very well and maintained voices for each MC. I would buy another book from this author and I will also keep an eye on Lessa, she reminded me a little of one of my favorite narrators of lesbian fiction Abby Craden. There are only a handful of narrators that perform well and Lessa performed well. Nice Job ladies!

Surprisingly impressed

I was given a chance to listen to this book free for a honest review. This is my first time listening to a F/F book but one of my favorite narrators narrated I had to give it a chance. This audiobook is actually good eventhough I feel this story could of been shorter. The character Jasmine was actually a BIIIIITCCCH as she suppose to be in this book but it almost made me stop listening but this is how some people actually are in real life.
I'm new to this Author and she did a good job.

I know she will be great at Author especially in the audiobook world.
Also Lessa Lamb is as usual great at narrating because she gives it her all and you can tell.
