About this listen

From Wall Street Journal and USA Today best-selling author Natasha Madison comes:

  • A brand new stand-alone enemies-to-lovers grumpy/sunshine sports romance.
  • A spin-off from the Only One series

Vivienne

I did the last thing I ever expected to do. I bought a boat. A beautiful boat that was all mine to spend the summer on.

The only thing I was looking forward to was the calm being on the water brought me. A place where I wasn’t a hockey dynasty princess or the only single girl of the family.

What I wasn’t looking forward to was the broody man in the boat next to me.

Xavier

I was at the top of my game two years ago. Then it all came crashing down.

I hung up my skates and vowed to never play again. I was good at hockey, but hockey was bad for me.

I planned to spend my life on my boat with my dog. Alone. Happily alone.

Until she came along.

Love it!

Amazing story. I absolutely loved everything about this book. Natasha portrays Xavier's mental illness and struggles so well, and I loved how Vivienne supported him. Their relationship is fantastic, and I adore his dog, Beatrice, as well as her family.
Since I discovered Natasha Madison, she has become one of my favorite authors. She never disappoints!
Connor Crais and Vanessa Edwin did a great job narrating this story.

Loved it!

I love all the generations of the Stone family. This one is very special due to the sensitive subject addressed. Thank you for letting hero’s be survivors.

Xavier and Vivienne's (and Beatrice's) story.

Had just read Natasha Madison's the Only One series (8 books) about the Stone/Grant/Horton hockey family and was looking for more stories narrated by Connor Crais. Connor narrates this one with Vanessa Edwin. They were great and brought this hilarious yet heartfelt story to life. Connor is perfect as the grumpy/sunshine ex-hockey hunk, Xavier, who's emotional support dog, Beatrice, makes friends with his new next-boat neighbor.

Grumpy/Sunshine on a boat

Loved this book! A grumpy sunshine trope but on a boat. Great storyline from start to finish and I always love when Natasha brings in all the family!

Oh Xavier…swoon

This story is my new favorite from Natasha Madison! I can’t tell you how much I loved BOTH main characters. It’s low angst, but no less captivating. I don’t know how this will be topped, but I’m so looking forward to anything and everything that comes next!

first review/comment ever

wow!! I am so in love with the Stone/Grant/Horton families. I have listened to several of the stories multiple times. Especially Cooper and Parker's story. Cooper was amazing to Matthew and Allison...he was beyond amazing to Parker. I have been waiting for this story and had today marked on my calendar. I think this may be my favorite of all the stories. The angst was never due to misunderstandings...it is a beautiful story from start to finish. I will be listening again tomorrow. I have listened to hundreds of books on Audible. I prefer the romance genre, I don't enjoy any cheating, abuse or misunderstandings. This was a perfect story for me. Like I said, I have listened to hundreds in the past few years, this is the first one I have felt so strongly about that I was compelled to leave a review. I love all of the support that X received from V's family. Matthew and Max did not high jack his meeting with Nicco and Manning, they were there to provide him with the love and quietly dignified support of the family. I love when the family flanks their loved one with their support snd protection. Was it Justin that all of the men in the family showed up to support when he was dealing with the assault charges, suspension and with Dylan's bio dad? ....and when Dylan let it be known to Matt and the rest if the men in the family that he was in love with Alex.....Justin and Cooper Stone stood with Dylan as Allison reminded Max that he helped raise Dylan and that they all know what an amazing man he has matured into and that honestly Alex and Dylan along with Michael were the 3 musketeers in the family when they were children. Alex and Dylan and Michael remained best friends through the years. Xavier and Vivienne's story is indeed my favorite of all because of the way their love and unconditional support of each other grew so naturally.....and the way the family accepted him completely and immediately rallied behind him in his quest for justice, love and support with his very real and serious issues which were ignored and made worse by his former team, management and the press. X deserves all of the love this family has to offer him....especially from V. love love love this story!!

Five plus stars.

I think Made For You is Natasha Madison’s best book to date. I love everything about the story, the way she writes Xavier’ struggle with mental illness is so well done it makes me ugly cry for a few reasons. The first reason is most of the time our society doesn’t take men seriously when they suffer with mental illness. Second, although Xavier suffers with mental illness he’s still handsome, sexy and strong. Third, Xavier having the courage to talk about his issues openly without being ashamed or being a stigma. The love between Vivienne and Xavier is so beautiful, she’s his rock, his everything other than his dog Beatrice. A phenomenal story.
