I absolutely loved these books and will be continuing to read the rest! They're great fun, with no blood and gore, bad language or depressingly sad endings.
The narrator is perfect for me. While Ms. Gillmore doesn't offer a wealth of wildly different voices, she does it well enough to make it clear which character is speaking.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to escape to New Zealand for a very cozy mystery with adorable furry felines and some good humour!!

I loved the accents I love cats and the idea of a kitten cafe made me glad. There were evil people doing evil things as it is in real life however in these stories good always triumphs in wonderful and surprising ways with kittens and cats weaving their way in and out of the story line as they do in our lives and hearts. This is a great book to listen to when you are doing a task you dislike or after when you are too tired to follow complicated plots. These books remind us to always look for the good in others and not be so quick to judge. If your preferred companions are feline you should definitely try these books.
