About this listen

Listen to the wholesome, incredible LitRPG series that remains a fan favorite - now with DUAL narration! Harvey killed the World Boss. Now he must clean up the mess.

On the cusp of a second lease on life, Harvey, Tabitha, Maywen, and Reacher have one goal: to level up before the World Boss regenerates. Lorith is alive again, but the remnants of centuries of toxic magic pollution linger. The world needs more healing than even someone with a Legendary class can administer, not at level 3 anyway.

Between monsters and mysterious villains, Harvey must confront a cruel reality. Will he be content to let those he cares about defend him, or will he embrace his destiny and become the Master of Steel.

Master of Steel is the transformational sequel of the dungeonpunk/steampunk first entry in the series, Father of Constructs.

The futures now

This author allows us to see a good progression. And he while spending time on the starts. It doesn't beat us over the head with them. He does a great job of pushing the story forward and allowing us to see the different people develop reader's notes. This author has taken the time to recognize. What's happening in the world by creating a disclaimer? To ensure we know that he wrote it and notA.I This needs to happen more and more, as we continue to have to deal with people who put out ai generated stories

I got the feels, then I got the badassery! then more feels

This book is the second installment in the Father of Construct series, and I continue to thoroughly enjoy myself. I normally steer away from books with an older protagonist, but I gave this series a shot after I got thoroughly hooked on one of the author's other series, Resonance Cycle. In this book, we kinda explore how the world percieves Harvey (Male Lead), and how he can use that perception to get people to underestimate him. We also see alot more of Tabitha (pseudo-daughter character) and Maywen (the SUPREME BADASS OMG) in this book, and we get alot more wicked fight scenes out of it.
As for the narration the guy and girl both bringing the story alive with their performances. Duet performances always elevate a book for me, and they do a great job here. Both narrators seem to have a really good range of voices and of emotion.
Overall, loved this book and can't wait for the next one!

This was even better than the first book.

I really enjoyed the progression of this book it's definitely coming in to its own. and the character progression is just getting better and better and it was already good in the first place. The book is definitely worth checking out I will definitely be checking out book 3 to find out what happens next.

Harvey really is a great protagonist

I really enjoyed the pace again here. I love how Harvey and Tabitha are trying to do their best to help people, but also getting setbacks despite potential to have an easy road.

My only wish is that this was a little longer! Very entertaining and I loved how it used both voice actors.

Solid 4.5/5 for me, worth a listen.

All the feelings!

Oh the feels!! I loved this book so much! From the train trip, their kidnapping, and the following revelation of the enemy. The voice actors also were great, and Harvey’s pain is so conveyed by the voice actor! Strongly recommend this series!! Please note. This book is about heart, and Harvey growing as a person. There are epic moments, but it’s not the focus of the book. #allTheFeels

Book 2 delivers

It didn’t disappoint. While they continue towards their destination, others have needs, designs and goals that limit their progress towards their destination while helping them grow stronger along the way.

So glad i bought book one.

I bought book one primarily because of the story look like a different take on the genre and an unconventional main character. I also read the author's previous Resonance cycle series. Book 2 the master of steel really takes it up a notch. We have a more confident and assertive Harvey. There is also a lot more progression for all the characters in both personal growth as well as levels and stats. The stakes are higher and we get a lot more world building and lore. Looking forward to seeing where Harvey's journey leads him in next book.

I thought I could keep going.

Yeah I had a rough time with this one in the first book, but it was mostly due to the bad narrative voice actors. so I gave book 2 a try, but I just can't get past that, and now I lost interest in the story as well.
