Publisher's summary

Do you want to become mentally sharper and quicker? Do you want to be able to save time and calculate large numbers on the go while you're shopping or splitting up a bill at a restaurant? Do you want other people to notice how you seem to not need a calculator, how you seem like such a genius? If yes, then this audiobook is for you.

Mental math is the ability to solve math problems in your head, without the need to write or use a calculator. And it has all of the benefits implied above and much more. Preliminary studies have even shown that mental math can improve your emotional health as well. So, why not engage in mental math problems?

This audiobook is for students and even interested adults. It can be used for serious practice, competition between two or more people, or for a fun night with family and/or friends. The first chapter consists of two-digit subtraction questions, and the second chapter consists of three-digit subtraction questions. The narrator will say a question and give the listener a certain amount of time to come up with an answer before proceeding on to the next question.

Educational Book

This book was so much fun listening to I play with my sister and we got a lot right. If was different answering all the math questions in our head because we were never taught that in school. My sister even played with her kids.Highly recommend adults to buy this book for their kids.

Another helpful resource for mental math

I grabbed a copy of the first book in this series and played it for a young family member who’s trying to improve his math skills. He enjoyed it, so, when I saw this one, I figured I’d grab it as well to keep things fresh for him.

It’s very similar to its predecessor, but instead of asking addition-based questions, it focuses on subtraction-related ones. It’s definitely a great and unique way to level up one’s mental math skills.

I think my only “word to the wise” is the same as in the last book: chapter one covers two-digit-based questions, while chapter two covers three-digit-based ones. For that reason, I think the first chapter is better for middle schoolers, and the second chapter is more well-suited for high schoolers.
