About this listen
In Merkaba, everyone thought he was dead and that's exactly how he needs it to stay. Until one day he stumbles across a mysterious dark haired beauty. Only, there is nothing average or ordinary about this secretive woman, and she knows exactly what and who he is.
He tries to get close to her, to figure her out and what she's really doing in the field of the state park. But when trouble finds her, he's the only one who can save her; even though she's the one woman who could ultimately be his undoing.

A great Bridging Novella in the Series
Please do not expect a full novel from this with a complete story arc - it is a bridging novella to introduce certain facts and happenings that I am sure will become key issues in subsequent books in the series.
What an energetic ride this is from beginning to end - so many future potential plots were introduced and I absolutely loved the weaving in of the Native American history and the impact of generational trauma. There was a definite bang to the events but never too heavy or dark. There is this strong force of light and love right through this series to stop the sometimes serious plotlines from dragging in the mud. I absolutely loved each of the new characters introduced and also the opportunity to be introduced into some of Dianne's back story.
Lydia McClosky did a great job on the narration though I was not overly fond of her voice portrayal of Alecia's Mum. Just a tiny bit irritating.
Favourite quote from this book: “when we have peace in ourselves, in our homes, then the world will be at peace.”

Fantastic
An awesome story. Everyone thinking you’re dead is a strange thing. Unfortunately it has to be like that. Meeting a beautiful and secretive woman isn’t easy. The Narrator made it come alive.
