Publisher's summary

Eighteen months have passed since Jake and his daughter endured a harrowing ordeal in the Alabama woods. To save his child, Jake killed two men working with notorious drug runner Ethan “Moon Pie” Daniels. Jake’s grateful that they survived, but can’t shake the feeling that the horror isn’t over and that retribution is coming. His actions cost Moon Pie his best friends and nearly two years of business. Now, on a cold, moonless night deep in the heart of a Mississippi swamp, Moon Pie will pit his thirst for vengeance against the strength of Jake’s love for his family.

Mississippi Mad Man Meets His Match

When the book first started off, I wasn't sure I was going to like it as much as the first one, but oh, as it went on, I did, I SURE did! Some of the tale is a little far fetched, but hey, who's to say it couldn't happen in the south . . . As for old Moon Pie, there's plenty of redneck, criminals running around down here, all hyped up on drugs, alcohol and their own puffed up image of themselves. And thank God, there are plenty of the good guys, too . . . the good old Bible belt . . . this is a thriller, but also a really GOOD listen with an ending worth the wait . . . and this southern, country gal LOVES an ending she can sink her teeth into.

Very Good!

Another great book by Bobby Cole. Not quite as good as The Dummy Line but still very enjoyable. A little far fetched but worthwhile.

Love this book.

The author does a good job building the suspense and mystery. I love the way the author has the characters struggle with sinning verses the choice of not to sin.

Tight, faced paced, thriller!

What made the experience of listening to Moon Underfoot the most enjoyable?

The narrator.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

The book lost steam in latter chapters.

Have you listened to any of Jeremy Arthur’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No

If you could take any character from Moon Underfoot out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Female lead.

Any additional comments?

Liked the book, faced paced with tension around every corner, thought the story lost credibility in closing chapters otherwise would be an overall 5-Star!

Great story

Great story. I liked the first book in the series better, but this one was pretty good. Lots of unbelievable things, but that’s why it’s called fiction. Not wonderful writing, but I still enjoyed it.

Excellent Sequel

This story picked up 18 months after the Dummy Line, built on the characters, introduced some great new ones, and was thoroughly enjoyable.

Wow! Great story!

I recently discovered author Bobby Cole when I read the first Jake Crosby book, The Dummy Line. Moon Underfoot is the second one. Bobby Cole is a very talented writer, both books had me spellbound and wanting more. I highly recommend this book. Now, onto the third book, Old Money.
