About this listen

The vast majority of theft, extortion, intimidation, harassment, assault, and even murder - in other words, the vast majority of man's inhumanity to man - comes not from the greed, hatred and intolerance that lurks in our hearts. Rather, it comes from one pernicious and almost universal assumption, one unquestioned belief, one irrational, self-contradictory superstition: the belief in "authority".

Profoundly impactful

This is the banned book from George Orwell's 1984 - a deep philosophical reset.

Hard to express how this book makes you feel.

Mind blowing, Uncomfortable, offensive, logical, common sensical, valid, scary. Truly, this book gives you an uncomfortable feeling similar to what I would only imagine comparable to finding out the parents who raised you from birth actually kidnapped you and raised in the kkk completely unaware the outside world existed prior to an abrupt, unexpected culture shock that your entire life as been a lie based on hate. From beginning to end, fighting a raging battle in your mind to decide between moral and what has been pounded into you since adolescence...

Disillusionment isn't a bad thing

The belief in the moral authority of Government is a delusion. A must listen for anyone who questions the status quo.

A perfect match between Author and Narrator!

The ideas laid out in this book are perfectly aligned with everything I have felt for years and years... this is also the best narrated book I’ve ever listened to. Very well done on all accounts. Kudos!!

Absolutely Brilliant

Larken Rose does an incredible job of pulling the rug on the house of cards. Not a single card left standing. Patrick Smith nails the performance, knowing how it sounds to have a conversation other anarchists stressing the same logic and reason. A very tidy, neat and summed up proof against the most deadly superstition anyone can pick it up and understand it. Thank you Larken for the awesome book.

A must read!

Larken's clear explanations bring clarity to subjects that are obfuscated by the euphemisms used to describe the crimes of the state. Patrick's reading and understanding of the subject allow him to perfectly communicate the ideas with pin point emphasis. An excellent work all around and a must read for anyone that wishes to be free.
