Dr. Northrup has become one of my favorite authors of this genre of books. She's incredibly intelligent & experienced, having much information & wisdom to offer. She manages to pack in a lot of content while keeping her books relatively light & easy to read. This particular book is one doctor's perspective about child rearing, specifically as the title states, between Mom & daughter. She's a modern and soulful doctor with tons of experience in the field of birthing and raising children herself, so she has a lot to share. I'm a big fan of her other two books " goddeses never age" and "making life easy". The later I only got because I liked the prior so much & I love her in interviews. It didn't disappoint! Bottom line, if you're interested, it's worth the listen

Would you listen to Mother-Daughter Wisdom again? Why?

My sister inlay bought me the hard copy 6 years ago when my daughter was born and I just never got around to reading it. I was glad to have found it here on Audible and have now finally been able to absorb it's wonderful content.

The book was a bit difficult to get into; as I first found it to be too complex and detailed to follow audibly. I stayed with the book and heard the author as to say that as mothers, we do our responsible duties, but not to beat ourselves up for the failures of our own legacies. We can only control ourselves, so let us live and let live.

Even thou my daughters are grown up now, I found this book wit such a fountain of wisdom and powerful information. I can't recommend it enough to every young mother to read it. Love listening the soft yet confident voice of Dr Northrup, listen to the audiobook 3 times, she is a true pioneer in women's health! I also have a hard copy of the book as a reference.

This Audio Book is extremely informative and 'easy to hear'. Christiane Northrup, M.D. uses her experiences to help guides us to being better 'women'. Would make a great present for anyone who is thinking of having a family. EMPOWERING!

I wish this book was writen when my mother raised me. I also wish it was writen befor she died. I have a daughter and grand daughter. I am glad to pass this on to them to listen to. I know my mother is sitting here with me listening to it also. We both smile,laugh,& cry together.
This is a book every mother and daughter and grand daughter should hear. I saw a video of this exact book. She is great. I highly recomend this book to all females, all ages, every where!

The reading is so weird. It's almost as if it's an Alexa or GPS type AI voice. Strange inflection as if the words do not go together in the sentence. It makes it hard to follow.

I don't know if we will even be able to finish this book because it makes no sense to the mind when you hear the stunted words strung together like a list of random words, instead of paragraphs of words building on one another.

Reading is weird, book is fantastic
