Seven-Time Amazon All Star Author with her latest book in the highly popular Cedar Bay Cozy Mystery series

Cooking is nourishing. Murder isn't. Kelly and her husband, Sheriff Mike, take a belated honeymoon and travel to a cooking school at the Castello di Nardo in Tuscany. The day after they arrive, they discover that Signora Nardo, the owner of the cooking school, has been murdered. The Signora had her share of people who would like to see the first lady of the castle dead, including her brother, Salvadore, her lover, Giovanni, her lover's wife, Angelica, the Signora's husband, a rival cooking school owner, and her sister-in-law, who happens to be the resident chef at the cooking school. Identifying suspects isn't the problem - finding out which of the suspects killed the Signora is. Follow Kelly, Mike, and her new four-legged furry friend, Caesar, while they help the local chief of police try to solve the murder. There's plenty of mouth-watering food, recipes, and a very big guard dog.

Great Book!

Any additional comments?

LOVED It!

This is a great book; this is the seventh book in the Cedar Bay Mystery series by Dianne Harman and narrated by Erin deWard. Kelly and her husband, Sheriff Mike takes a belated honeymoon and travel to a cooking school at the Castello di Nardo in Tuscany. The day after they arrive they find out that the owner of the cooking school has been murdered. Kelly decides to do some snooping around to try and find out what really happened.

The narrator Erin deWard did a wonderful job, and was very easy to listen too. She did a great job with the different characters and their voices.

If you are looking for a great mystery book then you need to read this book. I can’t wait to read the next book by this author. Once I started listening to this book, I didn’t want to stop until the end.

A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

A Tasty Whodunnit With A Twist

I am an avid mystery lover, particularly cozy mysteries, and I have fallen in love with this series! This book was set up quite different than most mysteries where you have a murder and then later on work to figure out the whodunnit and why. Here you find out early on who will be murdered, and in an unusual (and very fun) twist you also learn the inner dialogue and motives for many different characters. You find out that many people have interests in killing Signora Nardo, and when the killer strikes you don't know who did it. Which one of the characters got to her first? Who is the true killer?
I loved playing along with this guessing game and I loved the cast of characters! Kelly and her husband are an adorable crime solving duo, and they compliment each other perfectly! Kelly has a knack for picking up insider gossip from locals, sometimes sneaking around a bit which makes it fun and comical.
Erin deWard does an excellent job narrating this book and brought to life each character with discernible tones and accents. It was a treat to listen to this book, and if you like cozy mysteries and want a fun twist then I recommend this highly!

it was just OK.

The description of Tuscany was definitely great. It made me want to visit one-day. I've always wanted take a cooking class and I love mysteries so I thought I'd give this a audio book a try.
this book was just OK. it didn’t grab me like most books do, though I did like the dog. Though the book did have some funny parts and some twists it was sadly predictable. She described the menus and the cooking school, and may times it made d me hungry.:) I was very pleased that there're a few recipes at the end of the book, Nice touch.
I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator for an unbiased review via Audiobook Blast or Audio Boom..

A well-written cozy myster from a very good author

Murder at the Cooking School (Cedar Bay Cozy Mystery #7), my first read/listen from author Dianne Harman, Well-written & enjoyable. a cute, clean cozy mystery, the seventh book in this series. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. I was impressed and enjoyed the vocal variety & inflections of narrator Erin deWard. I look forward to reading more in this series & from this author, my only question is why did I wait so long to read this author. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
