The Earl of Wrexford possesses a brilliant scientific mind, but boredom and pride lead him to reckless behavior. He does not suffer fools gladly. So when pompous, pious Reverend Josiah Holworthy publicly condemns him for debauchery, Wrexford unsheathes his rapier-sharp wit and strikes back. As their war of words escalates, London's most popular satirical cartoonist, A. J. Quill, skewers them both.

Yeah! One of Carola Dunn's Regency books!
At last, it has occurred to them to record a few of Carola Dunn's Regency Romances! They are well written and have a large amount of adventure, humor, and (of course) romance, and the characters are complex.
The reader was pretty good, but she gets 4 stars because she is a little stiff sometimes. On the whole, she's a good choice for narrator.
Now, can we please have the rest of Carola Dunn's Regency Romances??? (There are quite a few!)

Simple but honest.
I felt so sympathetic for both Lady Jane and Lord winter, because they are both fighting against other peoples Ideas for there wellbeing. Still I am glad neither one of the people in this story gave up searching for there one and only.

Reverse Arabella
If you like Georgette Heyer’s Arabella, you’ll enjoy this book. I read the story years ago and remembered it with fondness, so I got the audiobook when I saw it. The story was even better than I remembered, having forgotten much of it. I enjoyed the various couples, most of whom felt novel. I’m sure I’ll listen to this story again and again as I enjoyed it so much. The reader’s performance was not my favorite, but overall I enjoyed this audiobook immensely. The only thing needed was an adorable animal in the story.
