Publisher's summary

Being stuck in a dangerous place with my worst enemy just might kill me. My plans for revenge due to the death of someone close keeps getting derailed as I navigate my estranged relationship with my werejackal boyfriend and defend a friend arrested for murder. And if that wasn't enough, I'm forced to compete in the ultimate magic competition against my new enemy, Phillip Leal. The loser will have to give up his or her freedom to the winner, and being that Phillip is a cruel and ruthless egomaniac, I can’t afford to lose.

To make matters worse, Phillip and I are magically banished from home with no ability to get back. In order to survive, we must fight off ghosts, dark faeries, and other paranormal beings who were all sent to kill us. Can I trust Phillip long enough to help get us home, or will he just end up getting us killed?

Fans of Sabrina and the manga Bleach will enjoy the next installment in The Paranormal World series, filled with romance, epic battles, and more!

Author's note: The first four books and two novellas of this new adult series are part of The Soulmate Saga. There will be some cliff-hangers.

AMAAZING

I absolutely loved this series, I have binge listened to both books with ease. The descriptions of the characters are very good. Amina is my girl. my favorite character is without a doubt Eric.

A delightful story!

I didn’t read book 1, but fell right into book 2 with ease. It was the perfect bedtime story and distraction during a tough work trip. I look forward to book 3. I also enjoyed the many styles of the performance. Entertainment and soothing voice.

first read

this is the first one read and it seems that it is easy enough to follow along. It's just my preference to start with the first book. I'll be going back and starting there. Besides that I enjoyed the listen.

Post apocalyptic romantic fantasy

I was pleasantly surprised as this was my first book in the series. I love that it owns the genre it belongs in because it's an exemplary standard to what it means to tell a fantasy story with romantic bend. The romance is necessary to the plot which is how it should be. Love the characters and the narrator did a great job of diverse characters and her reading is good for transportation to the authors world

Book two

This is a great paranormal love story. I want this series to be made into a show or a movie.

Something for everyone

After reading the first book I was very excited to start the second book centering around Amina and her friends. This book has a little bit of everything romance, supernaturals and action. You see more of a vulnerability with Amina in this book. Almost like she is unsure of herself. I wish she'd a little bit of the confidence she had in book one. But it also makes her more relatable. Even IRL we can't be strong all the time. We see more of her internal struggles between Eric and Phillip with a few twist and turns. Can't wait to read book three. The author also gives us little teasers of what kind of paranormal Felix may be which made me happy because I have a feeling it's going to be something good.. Only downside for me was it ended in a cliffhanger.

Solomon delivered again!

Solomon delivered again! This installment has so many twists and turns! We get more of the delicious Erik and dive even deeper into Phillip! Mina is still such a relatable character, I love following her and watching her grow into her role in this exciting/scary new world!

weak

The heroine is whiny, naive and just stupid. The more I listen the more upset I became. The only reason I wasted a credit on the book was I was hoping for character development. But NOooo. The main character talks about getting stronger one moment the next she agrees to a contest in the antagonist town, by his rules, and his time with his people as judges. Dumb. then she says this my have been a bad decision. You think!!!! , really. Action just don't meet thought process. The "backbone" is missing. I don't know what book the other reviews were listen to but this is not the book for me or anyone looking for a strong heroine with common sense.

Double edge comment

A book like this sometimes feels more like a romance than a science fiction story. If the listener is okay with that aspect, then I believe the listener will enjoy this book.
