Publisher's summary

These audiobooks introduce beginning listeners to the detective mystery genre. Perfect for the Common Core, kids can problem-solve with Nate, using logical thinking to solve mysteries!

Although Nate the Great and his dog, Sludge, are on vacation, they just can't resist a new case. When his friend Claude's grocery list is lost, Nate sets out to find it before lunch. But lunch draws nearer and the list is still missing. Nate the Great is worried: His reputation is at stake. It looks as if list has vanished - unless Rosamond's strange cat pancakes are somehow at the heart of the mystery.

Critic reviews

"With his usual wry humor, Nate solves another mystery. The text, written in comic detectivese, and Marc Simont's hilarious illustrations add to the fun." ( School Library Journal)
"In a brisk mystery-adventure, Nate, with characteristic offhand brilliance, recovers friend Claude's missing grocery list in time for lunch. The ribtickling drawings capture the mock-serious tone of the story." ( The Horn Book Magazine)

Only ten min of story

Half of the production are lessons and jokes. I just wanted stories so I'd probably have bought a different one of I had known.

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
