About this listen

From beloved Malawian storyteller Upile Chisala comes the revised and expanded edition of her second collection of poetry.

In nectar, Chisala guides listeners through a beautiful process of growth and renewal. These poems celebrate our always complex, sometimes troubled roots while encouraging us to grow through and beyond them toward a passionate self-love. Chisala’s hope is that her words will encourage listeners to sow seeds of change in their own lives and the lives of others.

good narration

That's the only compliment I can give, the author can read. These poems have no rhythm, no sense of artistry, they are just random thoughts put together with a light sprinkling of "the usual suspects."
Also the use of "darling" and mentions of God made me cringe throughout this listen. I need to stay away from modern poetry because so far nothing has worked out for me and this is the worst of the bunch.
