I can't stand the narrator. His voice is not for the story nice voice for something else I'm not for this one I like the storyline just needed a different voice to go with it

This was not well planned and even during the production someone should have just stopped this train wreck.

Listening to this book gave me an headache which caused me to finish it in 3 days. I’m not sure what you were trying to accomplish but the narrator’s voice was not for this story. His voice was monotone, too serious. It took away from the story, as for the story although it is fiction it was really hard for me to really enjoy it. Savannah was totally unrealistic didn’t like her she was to fairytale. But with that being said believe I could have enjoyed the story more with a different narrator who’s voice is a little more sexy and appealing. Very disappointed. This is why I gave such low stars. The narrator blew it. Sorry

Honestly I think this COULD have been a great book but unfortunately it fell short by quite a lot. Where to start? Let’s see, the way the characters talk, the words & phrases used don’t match the book at all, they belong in a historical romance & even then it would still be a stretch to be good. I understand falling in love quickly..

...but a few hours and a night sleeping together & BAM suddenly it’s fated even as he rides away the next morning promising to write, only to come back a year later. I mean come on. The story isn’t the worst I’ve ever listened / read but the way the characters talked & how it's a mostly her POV, made it a real chore to finish.
