I could just see it all

I cant remember the last time I have laughed and gasped so much. Each narrator has really great voices..and bad. Her male voice just awful. He has a few that dont quite work but not as jarring as hers. Luckily hes more prominent in this one. Not to mention his sexy country twang...is SEXYYYYYY. Ive been both reading and listening but Ive gotten used to the voices and it really does add something to it.
I never want books turned into movies but this could totally be a show. Ive had my dog looking to see who I was talk and cackling at.
I almost passed on this because its just a novella but dont.. It really is a great little filler.

Not so Black and White Romance

Love doesn't know color. D.A. Young displays it with reality and humor. The heat, romance and racial tensions are well written and performed.

Love the Story

This book is great because it gets you ready to listen to the other stories in the series. Great way to catch up to what is going on their lives. Novel idea. Loved it.

Ok

I really liked this book and would recommend it. It had a great storyline and sexual storylines. I would have given it 5 stars if the author hadn't used God's name in vain. I can't wait to hear more of this series.

This series of books touch on rel life experiences and all the couples are great together. I wish the narrators were great with all the voices. They make the story not as good at times.

D. A. Young is an new author to me and I look forward to readings more about the Men of Whiskey Row Series. Although the books focus primarily on interracial relationships, each book causes an awareness of prejudices, trust, narrow-minded ideation and how it affects individuals of any nationality. I enjoyed learning about the deep-set issues each character had to face and overcome. I loved the flirty banter between each couple and their willingness to forgive. Morae Brehon and Sean Crisden’s narrstions were great as always. I especially loved their ability to represent each individual character with the voice specific their background information. Well done👍🏽
