Publisher's summary

Balancing fatherhood with other responsibilities and duties can feel like walking a tightrope. You don’t want to miss out on your toddler’s important milestones, but you must work to provide for the family. There isn’t time to go to the gym, have a date night with your partner, or just spend a lazy Sunday sleeping until noon. And while you’re spending more time at the office and less time doing the things you enjoy, your toddler never seems to run out of energy, has regular temper tantrums, and refuses to eat anything but candy. You love your toddler more than your own life, but their demands are endless. It’s overwhelming and exhausting. But does it have to be that hard? Is there a way you can be an amazing dad and still have time to go fishing or take your partner to the movies?

Luckily, there is. You don’t have to sacrifice all your time for your toddler and give up the things you enjoy. Of course, you still have to find a balance–your toddler needs a present and involved dad. But if you have a practical guide that offers realistic parenting tools and strategies, you can make your toddler, your partner, and yourself calmer and happier with enough quality time for all.

Inside, you will discover:

  • How to discipline your toddler with love and respect to help your child grow into a responsible and empathetic adult
  • How to manage your toddler’s tantrums, while encouraging their independence and confidence.
  • Nine fun and amazing play dates that will unlock your toddler’s creativity and imagination, and develop their social skills
  • Discover how to balance self-care with the demands of being a new dad with the T.I.M.E. method
  • How to stop feeling overwhelmed and unprepared with some easy strategies that will build your confidence and make you the best dad that you can be
  • The challenges and rewards of co-parenting, and how you and your partner can be the dream team

No more picky eating for my toddler!

This book is an invaluable resource for new fathers as they navigate the frequently turbulent challenges of toddlerhood. With a comprehensive breakdown of essential topics ranging from potty training to managing picky eaters and teaching discipline with compassion, it provides practical guidance to help dads become confident and effective caregivers.
Chapter 3, centered on dealing with picky eater toddlers, proved to be immensely beneficial to me as a parent. It was reassuring to hear that I wasn't alone in facing this common parenting challenge, and the practical solutions provided in this chapter were a lifeline during those trying moments.
The narration feels like having a supportive friend or mentor guiding you through the ups and downs of toddler parenting. I would highly recommend this to all the new dads looking to establish a stronger emotional bond with their toddlers!!

Great!

Great book - great information. It seems like most of these types of books are directed toward the new dad and pregnancy or a brand new baby. Love that this covers toddler years! Covers a ton! Eating, transitioning from crib to bed. The terrible twos, etc.
