“If I’m not in control, then my emotions are based on my impulses, bad attitude, preconceived beliefs about how things work, the fight or flight instinct, and possibly a self-constructed ego that feels threatened by failure or maybe even by success.” New Trader said.

Rich Trader nodded. “You’re none of those things. Don’t let them control your mind and your actions.”

“But if I’m not any of those things, then what am I?”

“You are the witness. If you change your perspective and see these emotions for what they are, you are not them; you are human consciousness witnessing what comes into focus. You can let them take over or you can control your mind and your will. You let external elements influence your actions, or you take control of your emotions and can make decisions that take you where you want to go in life. It’s a choice and only you can make it.”

Exactly what I needed right now. I'm at the point where I can identify good entries and exits, but need the confidence to stick to my trading plan. Its told in the context of conversations between a new and experienced trader. The story is cheesy but helps drive the point across.

Yeah yeah, blah blah blah it's a great book for traders, both pro traders and new traders. Def a great trading book. But like... uhhh, really? You really gonna end the book like that? Like, just like that book over. It's just... it's just not fair! We need to know!! hahahaha 😆

Both NTRT 1 & 2 are must haves for any trader’s library!! They presents the basic to the intermediate concepts of trading in an interesting anecdotal form with makes it very easy to understand, grasp and enjoy. I listen to both regularly. Don’t hesitate...tap the “buy” button now and go get the other one as well. They are both worth the buy, listen, and hold!

This is the book you need to pause and refine your trading process and system. I can't recommend it more.

Pretty good. Definitely one I'd recommend in your trading library.

I dinged it stars because it was almost like the author had to really push to create this one. very forced.
