Publisher's summary

From Amazon #1 bestselling author Amy Daws, comes an all-new small town, spicy romance sure to hit you in the gut with laughs, feels, and mountain man grunts.

Help Wanted: Grumpy Mountain Man seeks baby momma. Job is an incubator position only. Surrogate must be impervious to grunting in the form of communication and nosey brotherly neighbors. Rustic mountain range housing available upon request.

I wanted to pummel my irritating brothers when they posted their own version of a wanted ad to help me with my life.

But I can’t fault the results once the right woman lands on my lap.

Becoming a single father is not a decision I made lightly. In fact, it’s the biggest decision of my entire life.

Which is why when I interview Trista, I know she’s perfect.

She’s wild, she’s opinionated, she wears cowboy boots. Even my pet goat loves her…

She’s the exact type of person I was holding out for.

And to my great horror, I realize on our first night of attempting this baby making dance…when the lights are low, the cheap wine is flowing, and the home insemination supplies are laid out on the kitchen counter…

I want to do a lot more than just make her my surrogate.

I want to make her mine.

Nine Month Contract is a 116,000 word small town, pregnancy, single dad wanna be standalone romance.

Fabulous Story & Narration🎧Enticing & Delightful!

Amy Daws pens another fabulous novel, a small town romance that has the perfect balance of drama, charming humor, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. The story is original with interesting storylines that are captivating from start to end. Once I started the book, nothing else around me mattered except what was going to happen next. I adored the two lead characters, Wyatt and Trista, as well as Everly, his niece and the Fletcher brothers. Wyatt is determined to be a single dad, but being done with romantic relationships, he is going the route of finding a surrogate to deliver his baby. Except he is having trouble finding a surrogate at the agency, but his niece is on the case and goes down to the agency to find the perfect surrogate, which she does. Trista is looking to make quick money, and thought signing up to be a surrogate would help her raise the funds she is looking for. The agency was too picky for her, but another opportunity arose when she met Everly, the teenager who interviewed her, though she did not know it was an interview. Next was getting Wyatt on board, which was not a problem because he liked what he saw. It was great to watch these two navigate their relationship and watch it morph into something else, despite their resistance. So many hilarious moments, as well as heartwarming ones, and the witty dialogue is absolutely brilliant. I loved how everything played out, the animals, the camaraderie amongst the brothers and family, and Trista discovering a whole new world and the way family could be. As with all of Amy Daws’ book, the writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. There is never a dull moment in this book, it will tug at your heartstrings and put a smile on your face, too. Thank you for another wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton were the perfect cast to bring these characters to life and their story to life. They understood who they were portraying, giving each a voice that was fitting and was believable in every role they performed. Hamilton nailed it as Wyatt, perfectly grumpy and overprotective, and Mallon was equally amazing as Trista, independent and driven. Both were great performing the roles of the secondary characters, too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’s emotions and had you feeling them all. These two make a great team, they handle the witty dialogue with ease and land the humor effortlessly. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.

Fletcher Brothers are HERE!!

I am so happy Amy finally gave us the 2nd Fletcher Brother. I loved the sneak peeks we got of all the brother in Last On the List.

This book follows Wyatt who is looking to find a surrogacy to make this dream come. Trista is looking for a way to make money to save animals.
What can go wrong?

Amy did an amazing job in bringing these two characters to life. Both have issues, that keeps them away from getting emotionally attached; however, when Wyatt falls – he stops at nothing to make Trista his.

Erin Mallon & Teddy Hamilton did AMAZING with this narration!

Swoonable and Steamy

Absolutelye adore this book, the beginning felt a bit rocky because of the male narrator( a bit aggressive during the first 1/3 but got better) but it smoothed out as the book went on.
Swoonable and steamy.😍🥰😛🤤

Loved the grumpy x sunshine trope and all the animals 😍

This was an excellent book about wanting to become a father, and choosing a difficult road with surrogacy. Wyatt is a grumpy mountain man, living alone on his farm with his goat Millie 🐐

Trista is a very relatable FMC, who has been let down by her own family and is now scared to get close to someone.
She’s in need of money and agree to be Wyatt’s surrogate.

If you enjoy these tropes, this book is for you:
- Grumpy x Sunshine
- Found family
- Curvy FMC
- Small town
- Lots of farm animals
- Pregnancy
- Surrogacy
- Lots of spicy scenes

Loved the whole Fletcher family and how close they all were.
The funny banter, disagreements, sparks flying and everything in between made this book great 🤩

Their relationship grew to be something special, and loved how it all came together.

I listened to the Audiobook, and it was amazing. One of the best audiobooks I’ve listened to. Duet narration with excellent narrators. Highly recommend this book and audio. Can’t wait to read more of Amy’s books in the future 🫶🏻
