Michael Bennett never a dull moment!

As usual loved this book. I am always looking forward to the next book in this series. All of the characters are great and I like how Michael Bennett and his partner work together.

satisfying but still confused

I absolutely loved the book. It was addicting and needed to know what happened every second. Although I am confused to the summary of the book and the actual book itself. Nothing about his daughter was in it.

A Michael Bennett story

Michael Bennett must again solve the question of who is killing young college female students. A serial killer is on the loose but no one seems concerned until Bennett takes on the case. He is also dealing with situations at home with his 10 children and his new bride. But Michael somehow seems to be able to solve both problems with his own ingenuity and tact. I highly recommend this fast paced book that takes you on a whirlwind journey to justice.

Beginning was dull

I almost stopped listening. The beginning was so boring and was mostly about his family. Nothing was holding my attention.

Twists and turns

I like how the author took different directions and it wasn’t immediately obvious how it would play out. Always enjoy Patterson

Why do the chapters get misnumbered

The book itself I enjoyed but it’s a bit unnerving to hear 2 or 3 chapter numbers skipped it’s like did you forget where you were? The story flowed but the numbers kept skipping.

Not worth the cost sorry to say.

Too much time on the family and not enough on the development of the crime story.

The worst Michael Bennett book ever.

Very disappointing. The story was weak and predictable. Very repetitive family dynamics.
I regret spending a credit on it.

Second Bennett story to drop the ball.

I’ve been a fan of Michael Bennett character since the first book. The last 2 have been horrible. Michael is wimping out. The story line says the killer is obsessed with his daughter. That is nowhere in this book. This story falls far short of what I’ve come to like in Bennett stories.

Interesting but not the best

Easy to figure out what was coming, but easy listening. It wasn’t a waste of time. Still good enough to listen to the end.
