Not a lot of world building but the storyline was well thought out and the unveiling didn’t take too long before the plot presented itself. A little spicy at the end of Book three.

Slow burn tension perfect over the three books. Revelations in book three with a nice twist, and wholly satisfying HEA in the last three or four chapters. I will listen again and again, probably.

I adore the FMC and the MMC are voiced separately no matter whose perspective the chapter was in. That is how this should ALWAYS be done. Loved the performances. Wasn’t yanked out of the story once!!

I had to finish the series because I needed to know the end of the story. great story but I will hence forth will be avoiding every audible book Holland narrates. I've looked at another series by Eliza, that sounded really good. based on reviews she used the Holland and it's the same issue. she sounds fake. AI could possible have done a better job.
if you can get thru the horrible narrative, the story is really good. I did love the characters and story line with a HEA... slow burn series.

Eliza or her audible publisher really need to find a better Female narrator a lot of use listeners have the same complaint.

I’m very disappointed. Story wasn’t anything extraordinary. Weak character development. But the worst part was listening to Lia Holland’s narration. She is worse than AI narration. I’m never listening to anything that is narrated by her. Gabrielle on the other hand was really good. But unfortunately, he had a very little part to narrate. I wouldn’t recommend this book to anyone.
