About this listen
Discover The Most Important Essentials for Raising Farm Animals Off the Grid.
Every person living off the grid has a common goal of being self-sufficient. Raising farm animals is a great first step toward that self-reliance, but which animals do you need? This book is specifically designed to answer that question.
With the knowledge you will gain from this book, you will be able to plan and prepare effectively and efficiently. You will learn which animals will best meet your needs for milk, meat, eggs, and fiber, and you will learn how to properly care for them and manage their products.
•Discover which farm animals will best serve your needs for milk, and what is needed for breeding, milking, feeding, watering, health care, and space requirements.
•You will discover which animals will give you the most meat in the least amount of time, for the cheapest cost per pound.
•This book will teach you all about calving, kidding, farrowing, and kindling, and how to develop an efficient breeding program that will yield the most milk and meat.
•Discover how to raise your own chickens, ducks, geese, and turkeys for meat and eggs by developing a hatching and brooding protocol, and by building an appropriately sized coop and run.
•You will learn which types of feed to use, and which ones to avoid for your livestock and poultry.
•You will learn which animal can earn a significant amount of revenue for your homestead, and which harvest weight will yield the most profit.
This book is designed to prepare you for everything you will need to know, so that you can make the right choices and begin with confidence. There is no better feeling than being well prepared —knowing what to do and how to do it.

Hilarious, fascinating, and a roller coaster of dizzying, historical what-ifs, Napoleon's Hemorrhoids is a potpourri for serious historians and casual history buffs. In one of Phil Mason's many revelations, you'll learn that Communist jets were two minutes away from opening fire on American planes during the Cuban missile crisis, when they had to turn back as they were running out of fuel. You'll discover that before the Battle of Waterloo, Napoleon's painful hemorrhoids prevented him from mounting his horse to survey the battlefield.

Have you ever desired, deep within your soul, to make a comfortable full-time living from a farming enterprise? Too often people dare not even vocalize this desire because it seems absurd. It's like thinking the unthinkable. After all, the farm population is dwindling. It takes too much capital to start. The pay is too low. The working conditions are dusty, smelly and noisy: Not the place to raise a family. This is all true, and more, for most farmers.

Incredible listen for farm animal enthusiasts
My family has been trying to figure out how to alter our lifestyle to one that is away from the hustle and bustle. We've worked through gardening, and we've been worried that we just didn't have the skills or knowledge to get into actual animals. Listening to this makes me feel like we can get started with our dream. I don't need to worry about not being prepared because I feel like we've got the information that we need to get started and succeed. So glad I was able to listen to this one!
