About this listen

The captain of the hockey team has a lot of responsibilities, but when it's just us, all he wants is to be my good boy.

Senior year should have been the same as the previous years: football, hookups, and homework. But after the season ended, somehow, Joey Carpenter happened.

He's weaseled his way under my skin, into my heart. The strong, intimidating hockey player melts so beautifully for me, and I'm addicted.

He pretends like he doesn't need anyone, but I see him. See what he really needs. The longing to be cared for is there in his eyes.

I desperately want to give it to him. If I'm being honest with myself, I need to matter. I need to save him.

Save him from himself.

Save him from his family.

Will I be able to convince him that he deserves to be loved without conditions, or will they leave him ragged and broken?

Off SIdes is a one-night-stand-to-lovers hockey romance with daddy vibes and angst. Contains mature content. A complete list of content warnings can be found on the author's website.

Nick and Joey must be protected always!!

I didn’t expect to love this book as much as I did. Joey was such a tortured soul and was so lucky to find peace and safety in Nick.

I love their character development throughout the book and how they find strength in each other. Joey’s mom truly sucked but grief will sometimes do that to a person.

At times though I felt like Nick was only living to help Joey and was afraid that he would lose himself in that. This whole series was such a delight to read. Truly recommend to everyone. Excited to read more books from Andi Jaxon.

Nick is top 5 book boyfriend

Amazing narration and an excellent story. 4.75 stars! This story is a comfort read for me that I have read multiple times and will continue to re-read. I love a broken boy and Joey is just that. Nick is so sweet to Joey and I love their dynamic.

Favorite so far

I really like this story, better than the second book 💯. You could feel the connection between the MC’s and the character development was great. The only thing I wish there was more of was interactions that didn’t include spice. I feel like them getting to know each other was shoved to the side and just assumed off page. But overall 4/5. Teddy and Iggy were perfect as usual!

Excellent book.

Loved reading this book. Loved the audio book even more. Sweet broken boys finding their HEA. Narrators really brought them to life.

Finding someone safe

I was really excited about Joey and Nick’s story, and it didn’t disappoint. Their dynamic is beautiful and heartbreaking and they’re perfect for each other. If you’re looking for spice, you’ve come to the right place.
I wanted to see more assertiveness in regards to their perspective families, especially Joey, but something is better than nothing. I did really love Nick and Brent’s relationship, their banter added light to some of the heavy.
I love this entire series and hate to see it end.

Joey ❤️

I personally had read the book and loved it. The audible made me love it more. I love a book that loves fast, did the boys need to communicate more yes, also Joey is the one who didn’t communicate. But luckily Nick is patient. I 10/10 recommend quick fast read not pinning just lust and love

Love this book! Been waiting for it!

I'm so glad this book finally has an audiobook. I started reading MM last year and came across this series pretty early in the MM journey. I fell in love with the characters, and their heartbreaking stories. The audiobooks were fantastic, I mean, how can they not be with Teddy Hamilton and Iggy Toma? Both my favorite narrators in the same book is just amazing. I was curious when they'd finally release book 3 as an audiobook, so when I saw this up for pre-order I bought it immediately!
I love the connection between Nick and Joey. They are definitely a bit codependent, but the way they help each other heal is great. This book wasn't my favorite in the series but it's still a great book!
