Publisher's summary

Following 10 years of service under four different presidents, the legend of Marshal Oliver Blackstone has grown far beyond his district headquarters in Santa Fe. Throughout the new US territories between Texas and California, law-abiding citizens respect him, while outlaws and wayward fugitives are wise to avoid coming face-to-face with him.

After drawing the ire of a wealthy Russian immigrant, he discovers that a $100,000 bounty has been placed on his head, collectible by the first gunman able to take down the marshal and claim it. Unfortunately for those seeking to strike it rich by facing off against the marshal who’s been called “the deadliest man alive", there is no shortage of would-be challengers hoping to claim the enormous bounty and bragging rights as the gunfighter who bested Marshal Blackstone.

However, many of them will soon find that there’s a reason why Oliver is at the top of the list and why, despite the outlaws’ bounty, Marshal Blackstone isn’t hiding!

Exciting Newsr

The author has a brilliant mind to come up with this plot - Marshal Oliver went into a cave and he asked his spirit guide to help him by showing him what he needed to know. His guide was a Golden Eagle and he flew high and Oliver was shown everything. Then things went into a spin with twists and gunfire. The narrator brought it to life. Great stuff!

Wanted Dead

In this installment of the Oliver Blackstone series, Oliver finds out his worth when a Russian outlaw puts a $100,000 bounty on his head. But that doesn't stop Marshal Blackstone from still getting the bad guy and living to tell the tale. And if a few other bad guys find the same fate along the way, well, that just means a few less bad guys to terrorize the innocent people of the west.
Took a little bit to get used to the change in narrator from Tom Lennon to Craig Abbott, but Mr. Abbott proved himself as good as Mr. Lennon.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

The Marshall is a good man.

I feel like the character of Marshall Blackstone is the epitome of the man all ladies would like to meet. It is not that this is has a sexual tension, but more like his morals, values and treatment of others is something all men seem to be lacking in most of society. I am glad that the author has given us an character that children can emulate that would bring about a profound change in the world today.

Great book and so far the series has been wonderful.

Dang that Marshall Blackstone is good!

New narrator which surprised me but just a chapter in I was settled in for the story performed by him. Lots of action and suspense in this story. Those Russian outlaws were pretty violent. So glad Marshall Blackstone took care of them. I am also enjoying the additions of the other Marshalls that team up to help him. It appears the media has always embellished their stories to sell papers. Great part of the story line. As usual Riano D McFarland did not disappoint! Now on to the next by my new favorite author.

A story as big as Texas!

Riano has crafted a well-written tale of a lawman who exchanges fame for integrity. Craig Abbott’s Narration is superb. He brings both the story and the characters to life in a way that makes you feel connected to it all.
