Fun story, excellent narration

The narrator did a fantastic job with all the voices. They were believable and recognizable throughout the story.

The story kept you listening. Shari really developed the characters. She made them come alive and made you have feelings for them. Bernadette was clearly my favorite and anchor of the story.

Only a couple of times did it feel slow and repetitive and that was only for a short bit. This the four stars.

Shari Low is the best

I’ve enjoyed all the others and this one didn’t fall short! Laughed, cried and thoroughly enjoyed every moment! I couldn’t put it down. On to the next!

Entertaining, well-written multi-perspective novel

While typically formulaic, Shari Low writes well and gives her characters more depth with multiple perspectives. However, I struggle with this Narrator and others like. If a character laughs in a book, the Narrator should not. It sounds so forced and disingenuous and truly disrupts the story pulling the listener out of the story. The same can be said of Narrators who believe they should sound like they're eating when the writing says they are. The listener/reader is capable of believing it is happening.
