narrator was very poor.

The narrator's unergetic and repetitive diction detracted from the storyline. I wanted to skip through book, just to stop listening to him drone on.

Alexa has more personality than this narrator...

In hundreds of listens this is my first BAD NARRATOR review. It's better to load this into your ipad and have the system voice read - it has more personality and doesn't do unrealistic voices that sound like Rocky or Thurston Howell III. The story is great; just difficult to stomach the audio.

narration almost killed this series

The narration is awful. Hopefully the last book isn't the same performance. I absolutely love these authors.

Please find another narrator

After enjoying the first two volumes of this series and looking forward to number three, I was astonished that this narration could survive quality control. It is possibly the worst narration of any audiobook I've ever bought. Some of the voices Mr. Newman summonses make me laugh out loud, and you can be sure that was not intended. I'm still a fan of the story, so I'll probably go for volume four, but I will think twice about it.

A chilling scenario but also it seems plausable

This is a true possible scenario in the next 20 to 40 years and it is a gripping story that keeps you in suspense. Hopefully this never happens in real life.

Narration by this Derek Newman is/was TERRIBL!!!!

Narrators' inability to use alternate voice patterns was so irritating it spoiled the entire book to the point that I stopped listening. Every time the story called for a different character, he simply plugged his nose to change the voice, all characters were handled the same way. I was unable to clearly understand what he was trying to say - had to rewind several times and listen more closely to be able to follow the story line. Sooo Frustrating! Although, the story brought me back the next day to finish the book - I still have book 4 to listen to. Sure do hope they have a better narrator for the next one.

Horrible Narration

The narrator for the first two was great. The narrator for this book is garbage and has tempted me to pull out of the series. Great story if you can stomach the narration.

Pretty good

Storyline is not bad, if you enjoy techno thrillers and politico novels. The first two books narrator was an easier listen. This book, the narrator was almost monotone.
