Interesting topic, helpful book
I never thought that overthinking was a problem because I have been thinking so much my whole life that I thought it was normal. Now I understand why sometimes I am so indecisive and take forever to make a firm decision and why I am always so exhausted, not just physically, but also mentally because my brain is always in overdrive mode. This book pointed out many issues with overthinking and ways we can identify the triggers. It also goes over practical ways to calm an overactive mind, reduce anxiety, and teach the reader/listener how to take their life back with healthier habits and live more peacefully. Overall, the author and narrator did an excellent job of gaining my attention from beginning to end. And I will be listening to this book a few more times until I get it all down. I look forward to having better nights with restful sleep by applying techniques from this book to calm my mind.

Practical, potent resource
As someone who has struggled with overthinking most of my life, I was slightly skeptical an audiobook would be able to help me with my challenges. Luckily, my skepticism was overturned with this book. The author takes a multi-pronged approach for not only describing the function, and sources of overthinking, but the methods for treating and overcoming the obsessive thinking as well. After listening, and applying the techniques outlined, I'm now finding myself in a greater peace of mind, and able tackle projects and pursue goals with more capacity. Grateful for this.

A great guide!
I am often guilty of overthinking in which it affects my mental state. After listening to this book, I realized a lot of things, and know that I can overcome such problem. The author does a great job of providing detailed information about overthinking. The book provides practical ways to convert such thoughts into a positive mindset. Great resource
This is a great resource for any over-thinker. The author explains possible reasons why we are overthinking everything and how to make peace with it. Then he explains how to tackle the problem and gives practical examples and exercises to help you work through it. The meditations are great as well. I like the concept of control and had never thought of it like he explained it. It’s made a difference for me already just changing that one thing.
