About this listen

Narrated by Scott Eastwood and Andi Arndt, a sweeping, second chance romance that weaves mystery, passion, and humor as two present-day lovers search for a love story from the past....

Past loves should stay in the past.

After the way my first love took off for the ends of the earth, the last thing I want is to see him on billboards and bookstore bestseller shelves. Now my boss just handed me the project that could make my career. All I have to do is partner up with the man, the myth, the legend - adventurer Hunter Armstrong.

That's easier said than done, because when we reconnect, I learn Hunter has his own agenda on this project. And it's not to find a treasure in art and antiques. It's me. But what we discover shocks both of us, and we have no choice but to follow the clues....

P.S. It’s Always Been You: Part 1 is the first installment in the P.S. It's Always Been You serial novel. Presley and Hunter’s story continues in P.S. It's Always Been You: Part 2.

We defined a series as having a minimum of three books, and—after some debate—we decided the titles had to be anchored in fiction. From YA to horror to historical fiction, from fresh voices to seminal tales, hours of discovery await.

❤️🔥So much goodness in this story!

I was dying to get my hands on P.S. It’s Always Been You.... Andi Arndt & Scott Eastwood (yes... son of Clint Eastwood) is utter perfection. You could feel the outpouring of attraction and love the Presley and Hunter have for each other. What happens when they get their second chance? We have three installments to find out! I cannot wait for the next one!!! So much goodness in this story!

Struggled

I really struggled to finish this one. While I love the author and Andi Arndt is my favorite narrator, Scott Eastwood made this very difficult to get into. A narrator he is not (in my opiniin). It was painful to listen to him struggled through this. I liked the story but it would have been so much better with someone else reading the part of Hunter. I won't be reading part 2 unfortunately.

Scott Eastwood and Indi Arndt are DIVINE together

The beginning of Hunter & Presley's story is awesome...I need more ASAP. (All 3 parts are out and I need to find time to listen to the ASAP!)

Hunter's life has taken off - he's a TV heartthrob, best selling author, and all-around great guy.

Presley's life has somewhat stalled...she's not where she hoped she be at this point in her life but in comes Hunter...back...after years of no communication...

The story captured my attention and I don't' want to wait for more but I have to!

I have always been a fan of Andi Ardnt so the narration for Presley was great.  I LOVE Scott Eastwood's voice - it's smooth and sexy and deep...my only reservation was that at times it felt like he was just reading the book not ACTING the part of Hunter as often done.  His voice is divine and even when he's JUST reading I love to listen but I would have preferred some more UMPHHH and heart with his side of the narration.

Couldn’t finish, male narrator too distracting

I adore Andi Arndt as a narrator, one of my favorites. The male narrator, however, was really quite bad. He trailed off in volume repeatedly. His inflection was awful, as though he is a middle schooler reading in front of the class. No emotion expressed or difference in character voices. I have listened to hundreds of books and this is one of only a handful of times I have not finished a book due to less than stellar narration.

How They Found Each Other and Lost

They had traveled to Paradise and were soon to be parted. He was off to search out adventure and she to a career. Then he promised tomorrow. Then he left her. Part one of the story of losing and finding “The One.” Sweet touching romance. Marvelous performances.

Flirty and fun

This was a flirty and fun love story that travels through the ages. It connects the readers to adventures, mystery, flirty, and of course some of LB well known sex. A little different from her other books , but it was fun to listen too and had me wondering what was going to happen next.

LB is awesome & Andi Arndt is awesome - the rest..

I seriously LOVE LOVE LOVE Lauren Blakely. I can't get enough of her books!! BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT Scott Eastwood?? I mean honestly, if I was looking at him during this, maybe I could cut him more slack. He is very pretty. His voice wasn't bad for the leading man but he had zero emotion, zero inflection and his timing was just off. It was like it was his first time ever reading the story and he decided to record that and just go with it as the final version. When he did women's voices (and really any character) it made it hard to follow the story because there was no differentiation in the voices. I almost didn't make it past the prologue. I found myself having to re-listen and really concentrate to follow who was saying what. It was a chore to listen because of this and I almost didn't make it through. Sadly, Andi is so great that his flaws really were magnified.

Cute so far

I like the story so far and I’m looking forward to hearing the rest of the story, but not from the Scott Eastwood. I had to stop for awhile because I just couldn’t listen to him. I love Andi Arndt, so I gave it another shot. I’m sure he’ll get better. It really shows you what an art this is.

Cliff Hanger Ugh

Unrequited love. The one we got to busy to keep in touch with. The one we let get away. Second Chances. Obstacles in the path. A passion in common.
Here I wish I could grade each narrator separately. Andi Arndt is a fantastic narrator who has many voices. She makes a wonderful story shine.
My belief is that Scott Eastwood was not the best choice for this reading. He has a great stage presence but he doesn't give each individual voices. The listener can't distinguish one from another.
I feel the story let's you feel the frustration the characters must feel as they navigate through their feelings.
