Great read!!!

This novel is certainly not what I was expecting, it wasn't hood or predictable, it was hilarious and emotional. Hill's writing style engaged me with the characters on a personal level- I feel like I know Kayla. Beautiful book that I'd recommend to anyone.

I Get It!

I had the opportunity to listen to part three before part one. Oh well. I enjoyed it just as much now that I was actually introduced to the characters. They seem real! Like, your cousin with the lying and cheating boyfriend or the baby daddy with all the broken promises. Drama...Drama...Drama

Loved it

I loved this book I'm ready to buy #2, it kept me interested from the beginning to the end. Kayla has one situation after the other with these men, but all at the same time she has to live her regular life as a college student, single-parent, and etc. This book is amazing it's a must read I recommend reading

Very relatable book

I thought this book was very entertaining but hit very close to home. I think anyone that has been young and dumb can relate to the choices that Kayla made. I know I've had that mentally and emotionally abusive narcissist in my life before that broke me at times. from the cheating to break babies and all. this book was an entertaining twist on real life predicaments. loved the narrator she did a great job with this story. The control with her voice was very impressive. I could tell which character was talking with the change in her voice.
