The ground rules have been laid and the requirements have been spelled out. There’s just one little problem. The Principles and Practice of Engineering Exam is a monster, and you suck at taking tests! There are a wide range of study materials available, and even some resources that give you snap shots of test day, but nothing that truly gives insight on what to expect while preparing for and taking the test. You want the nitty-gritty, the unfiltered truth. Well, I’m gonna give it to you raw, no rubber. There are things that can be done that will increase your chances of success, regardless of your aptitude for testing, no matter how long you’ve been out of school, or how hectic your life is. If you want it, go get it!

This guide is informational, motivational and relatable. As an African-American woman who has taken the test four times, I was beginning to feel like hope is lost for me. Now I understand the level of whole-life dedication needed to pass the test, I'm ready. Thank you for your empathy, sympathy and reason. Thank you for the Outkast playing in the background. Thank you for sharing stories about your family. Best wishes to everyone.

More of a pep talk than a study guide (but pep talks can be pretty useful). The informal nature of the book was refreshing, but the use of profanity often seemed gratuitous.
