Publisher's summary

After saving the world multiple times, Percy Jackson is hoping to have a normal senior year. Unfortunately, the gods aren’t quite done with him. Percy will have to fulfill three quests in order to get the necessary three letters of recommendation from Mount Olympus for college. The first quest is to help Zeus’s cup-bearer retrieve his goblet before it falls into the wrong hands. Can Percy, Grover, and Annabeth find it in time? Listeners new to Percy Jackson (you can enjoy this book as a standalone) and fans who have been awaiting this reunion for more than a decade will delight equally in this latest hilarious take on Greek mythology.

Critic reviews

"More than 10 years have passed since listeners first adventured with Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Narrator Jesse Bernstein doesn't disappoint as he returns in this sixth installment.... Bernstein wonderfully captures Percy's excitement and sarcastic humor.... Listeners will enjoy this delightful reunion with its mix of nostalgia, romance, adventure, and humor." (AudioFile)

But how to pick just 100 of these unique and immersive listening journeys? Looovveeee itttt

I love the book! It doesn’t feel out of place or strange at all. Feels exactly like Percy Jackson book should!!! I can’t hardly wait for the rest of the series! Of course I know I’ll have to wait though. :) - Love,
A Millennial that found these books around 10 years ago. <3

Not bad, not great

Not a bad book but not the most interesting one either.
But with a great narrator it was easy to get through.

An actual good narrator

Jumping back into the world of PJO is like being welcomed home with a tight hug and a warm batch of chocolate chip cookies.
Rick Riordan does it again with Percy Jackson. The same wit and cutting sarcasm had me grinning throughout the book. The narrator was fantastic, his voice engaging and animated.

Definitely back to form.

This book was a breath of fresh air. While not a world saving kind of tale, definitely felt weight of importance of the quest. Percy and Annabeth relationship dynamic was better written in the story than Nico and Will in Sun and Star.

Fun Book!

It was delightful to read a book where Percy Jackson and friends didn't have to save the world but were still their wonderful selves, having adventures and figuring out what was important in life.

Jesse Bernstein is the best!!! Oh and so is Uncle Rick

So happy to come back to this cast of characters, and, of course, the only choice they could’ve made for narrator was Jesse Bernstein. Wouldn’t have listened to it otherwise. Kudos to the whole team.

Very Good book

Rick Riordan are you actually a god that writes books of real heroes?
Very good book though.

Ps. I know you’re hiding something.
