Publisher's summary

I've caught a raging case of bosshole.

Signing on as a company driver for Brandt Ideas felt like a dream. Big-girl salary. Stellar benefits. Glorious people - minus one.

Nicholas Brandt was put on Earth to drive me insane. Of course, he's my boss man. He spent the first month mistaking me for a dude. Then he “apologized” with the grace of a drunken moose.

A perfect grump with a brutal reputation. A heart-thief sculpted like a fallen angel. A master at making me question all of my life decisions.

Why is it always the terrible ones who make a girl tingle?

The longer I'm stuck with Satan in endless Chicago traffic, the faster he wears me down.

When he needs a “date” at this rich-people charity dance, I crack. I say yes. I kiss my incurable, broken, off-limits boss - and God help me, I like it.

I invite disasters fated to rip my heart out. And just when Nick Brandt can't cut my life into tinier confetti, the unthinkable does.

Guess who wants to save me. Now guess how much barbed wire I've got to keep Mr. Anti-Perfect in exile....

Love this series, but it wasn't my favorite.

I have loved the Perfect Grump series but honestly, this wasn’t my favorite of the bunch. I can’t quite put my finger on why I didn’t like it as well as the others. I liked Nick and Reese in the previous book, but I think there was so much going on in this plot of this one it felt like too much for me. The other 2 stories were office romances, but this one is a little different because Reese is the company driver. This also felt like it was a little too long. I was ready for the HEA and there was still a lot going on. After the beginning of the story, it also lacked some of the humor that Nicole Snow wrote into the other books.

While the story does start as enemies to lovers, that is quickly resolved and we end up diving into a lot of plot points. Reese ends up with temporary custody of her niece which means she can’t work, so Nick goes to great lengths at personal cost to hire a nanny and outfit a room at the company so Reese can keep working. Meanwhile, Nick is dealing with his psycho ex-girlfriend and I mean she is crazy. The wrap up of the plot is kind of a wild hot mess that had some moments that just didn’t make sense to me, but the ending of the romance was SUPER sweet and fitting for this couple.

Overall it was a fun and cute read that had a little too much going on for me and the middle felt a little slow. If you loved the others in this series, I would give it a read. It has some really funny lines in it, Nick and Reese are great characters, and I would have been disappointed not to get their story.

Meeting the Right Person

A man who is rich and never a is concerned about what his actions did to his family, business or reputation
Funny how his never driver (who he thinks is a guy, but isn’t) results in him taking a good look at his life and what he grisly wants
Enjoyable story with good narration

Good enough…

That’ll be good book for cleaning the house or doing a project cause though it was good there were hours were I zoned out and felt I missed nothing

Perfect Grump

I really enjoyed listening to this book. This series kills me with the grumpy men and sunshine women they fall for.

This book is about Nick Brandt who is a playboy billionaire that has a past filled with reckless deeds and drama. Reese is the driver for Nicks company. Nick thinks that Reese is a man at first because she doesn’t wear comfortable clothes and never talks to him. During a work party he discovers that not only the “man” is actually a woman but she is also someone he shared some secrets with.

i really enjoyed listening to this book on Audible and would recommend it to anyone if you like the grumpy/sunshine trope.

So sweet!

Kind of like a modern Cinderella story with a few twists. This was an easy listen and entertaining!

Fun but nothing new

Nothing new from the last book about the older brother. Still steamy 👍. The male narrator does not do it for me.

I'm so confused..

Let me start off saying the synopsis is backwards. I went in thinking this was going to be a grumpy boss as it says but it isn't. The FMC is the one who is the total B. The narrator for her is awful too. Yeah, it started out w a small misunderstanding and the H tried hard to make it up to her for weeks and weeks & all she did was act ungrateful & put him down. I wanted to punch her in the face.

Just ok

After reading the previous stories I had high expectations but it fell short the male narrator just didn't do it for me but was glad to see how finding love can change a person's outlook.

Its a long haul

The book probably could have been cut by a good 200 pages. The female narrator sounded like she whispered through every chapter, and the fmc lacked any character growth. The final half of the book was good and picked up pace. Some parts moved too quickly - unrealistically quickly.
