About this listen
He got a good job. Bought a nice house. Built a beautiful backyard pool. He spends most of his time at work, sacrificing a social life for corporate advancement, but it's a trade-off his dream home justifies.
Until Will loses his job. Suddenly unemployed, Will takes to spending hours on end appreciating the pool he can no longer afford. Day after day, he sits beside it, watching its beautiful ripples as they lull him into a state of blithe indifference, quieting the part of his brain sounding alarm bells. In the midst of ignoring his personal financial crisis, a convenient distraction enters his life.
Sibyl Sparrow, a pretty, pale, purple-haired girl from a cyberpunk universe suddenly emerges from a portal at the bottom of Will's swimming pool. She's got a crisis of her own, with consequences significantly more dire than Will's looming bankruptcy. She's being hunted. A sentinel from the evil Zurug Corporation slipped into Will's universe at the same time as Sibyl. It's come to retrieve a high-tech nanobot system Sibyl stole and installed within herself, granting her all sorts of incredible abilities.
They'll need those abilities to beat the sentinel. And time is ticking. If they fail to defeat their cyborg enemy before he establishes interdimensional contact with Zurug Corp, then the corporation will receive Earth's coordinates, at which point Will and Sibyl's problem will get considerably worse. Like apocalyptic.
But they're not alone. Will's nosy, nerdy neighbor Ronnie can't help but insert himself. Then another interdimensional refugee escapes through Will's pool, an elf by the name of Nella Marien, whose own past holds clues about their present foe.
Together, this motley team might just manage to save the world. Then Will can get back to sipping poolside mai tais - perhaps with some lovely company joining him.
This novdlla contains unconventional romance centered around one male featuring scenes of physical intimacy.

Story
An experimental ASI with a terminal case of curiosity reached out and tampered with the universe in a way that it should not have, and unleashed a torrent of energy we would call magic into our galaxy. Humans, and every other intelligent lifeform for that matter, were ill-prepared, physically and mentally, for such an eventuality. In an effort to save itself, the ASI hastily created something it called the Framework to shape and codify this magical energy, and usher in a new world. A world of classes, levels, and extraordinary power. But also a world of monsters.

From Executed to Executioner. Julian Thorne may have been reborn after his execution, but his problems were far from over. The key to escaping the Undervale was with his previous body, leaving him trapped. His only means of escape involved the gateways that would send him across the world with no guarantee of returning to his hometown which was under orc occupation. With the odds stacked against him, Julian forged ahead until a new path emerged. Not only did it offer a chance at freedom, but the knowledge of why the orcs attacked his people in the first place. Story
The fate of Julian’s people resides within every seed he earns. Julian Thorne had a wonderful life, one filled with friends, family, and an education in Azgarthe, the magi academy located in his hometown called Beachlight. That was before the war. No one deemed the orcs a threat until they swept across Aliria, conquering every city and town in their path. Their warlocks cursed the lands to slow crop growth to a crawl, and every capable magi was executed while the survivors looked on in horror. Julian’s parents included. The war ended ten years ago, but Beachlight, like every town and ...

Taken from my old life with little memory of what brought me here, I wake up in a high tech capsule. A wrinkly old elf tells me that my soul is incomplete and has been fused with that of a Solar Dragon to give me a second chance at life. Where? When? An urban metropolis filled with fantasy races, erected atop the back of a giant asteroid. Meteoropolis. And millions of years in the future, to boot. But that's not all. I've got super powers, too. To add to the excitement, I end up hosted by an anxious unicorn elf named Pinky Peach who is basically a professional gamer girl.

Story
Yesterday, dying from his grueling job. Today, a champion of an entire kingdom. Togashi was already dying from the fumes destroying his lungs, so it made perfect sense to take the blame when his friend killed someone in self-defense. Togashi thought he would be executed, not flown into the wilderness to begin a new kingdom. The Asmir had been taught that all the kingdoms of Creosha had been destroyed, but, after a few days of serving Elasha, the goddess of the moon, he has learned that the world is filled with other races. The world could still wind up in jeopardy, because Elasha’s sister...

John Doc Henry had been on the shortest, crappiest end of the stick since the first day of his life; no parents, bad foster parents, and abysmal luck at every turn. The day his life changed started out exactly like he had come to expect. His car died on a rarely traveled road, and he broke his toe shortly after dodging the one other car on the road. When it stopped and backed up to him, the license plate read “LADYLUK”, adding insult to injury.
