A favorite, comfort read. Now a favorite, comfort listen. Great story, great narration. Book 2 in the Rivers world, but could be stand alone.

Radclyffe and Abby Craden deliver again! Beautiful story. Happy to see the addition of another letter of the LBGTQIA family.

Radclyffe is a very talented writer. Her story ideas are quite creative, particularly her medical stories. But her stories are too short and uncomplicated for today's lesbian readers. Come on, gives us a little more than Harlequin.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Ida Rivers. She's the matriarch of the Rivers clan who hasn't lost her southern charm even though she married a Yankee.

What does Abby Craden bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Depth to the characters.

If you could take any character from Prescription for Love out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Carrie cause she's such a sweetheart.

Any additional comments?

I'm looking for more in this setting. I love the Rivers and the supporting cast and I hope that this is the beginning of a series.

There's only a few thinks I didn't like about this book.
1) No wedding, common, the first book left us hanging ,then they spent the whole time during this one to plan and we still didn't get to experiance Happer's wedding. or the barn raising..😛
2) the book introduced Blake the Son.. and many things were discussed. which let us as readers wanting. There was no resolution. My guess is.. It wasn't Blake's story, so maybe the Author didn't feel it was right to truly get in to his transformation. although I would of loved to seen it.
3) It took the whole book for Abby and Flan to get together. I would of liked to have more time with them as a couple and a family as a whole. instead of the last 6 min.
Ok so now that I put that out there.( its really good im just being spoiled and want more details lol )This is by far one of her better sweet stories. I loved it. Radcyffe is amazing and she has created an environment with these two books that male you feel apart of the Rivers Family
It's engaging, emotional laugh out loud good.
This just like Against Doctors Orders is a must read. you will love ever moment you spend with such an amazing group of Characters. it's gonna leave you wanting more.. Abby Craden performance is outstanding .

This is better than the first book

As usual, another great book from this author!! It was interesting to get to know the sister character and the way she worked and ticked. I was kind of taken aback by the speed in which the story unfolded. One minute th protagonists were off and then the next, they were completely on and professing their dying love for one another. Iguess i just missed the transition. Nonetheless, it was still a good read that i enjoyed. I dont think there's been a book from Radclyffe that i haven't enjoyed yet.

If you’re in the mood for an awesome love story between two women and the challenges of coming out as a trans teen this book absolutely fits the bill. A little pat but worth the read and definitely intense. I loved it! Near raider is on the mark, from her voice acting to her narration reading just perfect!

It's a bit short compared to other Radclyffe books but I like it. it's really nice. I wouldn't read it again but it was a nice one read.
