About this listen
Presumed Innocent: Booktrack Edition adds an immersive musical soundtrack to your audiobook listening experience!
Hailed as the most suspenseful and compelling novel in decades, Presumed Innocent brings to life our worst nightmare: that of an ordinary citizen facing conviction for the most terrible of all crimes. It's the stunning portrayal of one man's all-too-human, all-consuming fatal attraction for a passionate woman who is not his wife, and the story of how his obsession puts everything he loves and values on trial - including his own life. It's a book that lays bare a shocking world of betrayal and murder, as well as the hidden depths of the human heart. And it will hold you and haunt you...long after you have reached its shattering conclusion. Booktrack is an immersive format that pairs traditional audiobook narration to complementary music.
The tempo and rhythm of the score are in perfect harmony with the action and characters throughout the audiobook. Gently playing in the background, the music never overpowers or distracts from the narration, so listeners can enjoy every minute. When you purchase this Booktrack edition, you receive the exact narration as the traditional audiobook available, with the addition of music throughout.

Given the importance of what they do, and the controversies that often surround them, and the violent people they sometimes confront, it is remarkable that in the history of this country only four active federal judges have been murdered. Judge Raymond Fawcett has just become number five.... It's good, but liked the recent show better.
The storyline is very interesting. Some of the racial tones gave cringe. After watching the movie and show, I feel like a lot of the storyline was quite unnecessary and drawn out. I honestly liked how they recreated the movie and really love how they changed the show! The show gave a different spin and boosting of characters. Overall, without this good read we would not have had a great show!

Saw the movie the book was even better
It has been a long time since I've seen the movie which I thought was outstanding at the time. I have a tendency to buy books of great movies I've seen I like to play them at night as I try to relax and go to sleep instead of watching television.
I was riveted from the get go as the opening narration set the tone right away. The orator nailed each part of the main characters. The story itself is unlike any whodunit court room crime thriller. There's some educational value thrown in as well that works with the narration it's very smart.
The ending is different from the movie very enjoyable. I like smart reads this is one of them

Music too distracting
The voice of the narrator became more tolerable as additional characters were introduced, which was fine. Unfortunately the music was too distracting, unnecessary, and at times was so horrible that I had to fast forward to remove myself from the thumping sound that caused a headache to grow. They tried too hard to create suspense with the music that it detracted from the story.
