I love the mission and the heart in this book but collecting horses in this manner is just not OK for the field of equine assisted psychotherapy.... horses need so much care and attention and time... I love the heart in this book and I love how much this author poured her heart out and wrote this beautiful story so my heart goes out to her but I had a hard time getting through collecting all these horses with low funds because of my past helping nonprofits find ways to support their horses and really struggling financially... keep the herd small and you will heal so many more!!

I don’t think I have read a book that has inspired or moved me like this book dead. I am a Christian and I am so very glad that this book was recommended to me. It has helped me have some clarity in my own life and having God there you cannot lose. I highly recommend this book. Kudos to the author

We all need connection and experiences that allow us to be truly seen. Hopewell’s programs for kids and veterans who need a place to be themselves is remarkable and inspiring.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a good listen and of particular interest because I have had the privilege of being acquainted with this ranch. I would never have guessed the struggles that Jodi has faced. She is kind and welcoming to all the kids at the ranch. It is an encouragement to see how God uses the dreams of a woman with the support of her husband to heal the wounds of others.
Jodi’s honesty allows the reader to know that God uses our insecurities and imperfections to show His glory.

great writing by the author, good narrator and story line! had to get tisdue 3 or 4 times through out the book...makes me want to find a farm to help at....i need to groom a horse and tKe my mask off...

This book is definitely a must read. Be ready to have your heartstrings tugged on a little bit. It’s a perfect little reminder that God hears us and sees us and all that we do and he is with us and all that we do.

i cried during the sad part of the book. Solomon had me hooked and i fell in love with him. I've always connected to animals more than people, so i was eager to read this story!
