About this listen

Silver Medal winner of the 2023 Independent Publisher Book Award

Are you ready to master Quantum Physics fast through just four bizarre discoveries, even if you’ve got zero prior experience or training in the subject?

Then keep reading....

In 1965, the great American physicist Richard Feynman famously proclaimed, “I think I can safely say that nobody understands Quantum Mechanics." Is there any wonder why?

Particles that pop in and out of existence....

Spooky action at a distance that travels faster than light....

Infinite universes and branching realities….

Most people, unfortunately, were never taught how wonderful and spectacular quantum physics really and truly is in school....

And the ones who do receive formal training are overwhelmed with advanced mathematics that only makes sense to a fraction of the population....

In this book, we will break through the confusion and reveal to you the most important ideas of quantum physics, told through the amazing true story of just four bizarre discoveries–many of which were made completely by accident!

In Quantum Physics, Into the Light, you’ll discover:

  • How one young physicist accidentally discovered quantum physics with a math trick and changed our entire understanding of light and matter forever.
  • The true secret nature of light (get ready to be extremely confused).
  • How a playful riddle about a dead cat started as a joke but later smashed our entire interpretation of reality forever.
  • How a man you’ve never heard of took us to the brink of a Theory of Everything (and why we’re not there yet).
  • And a whole lot more!

So if you’re ready to master quantum physics fast (and in plain English), buy this audiobook now!

Great Quantum Physics Primer

Early on in the book, the author asks. "What is the true nature of the universe?" Anyone who's read Douglas Adams knows the answer to that. 42. All these years later, it turns out the reason why it is 42 is because of quantum physics.
I am not a science major, but I've always been fascinated by physics and curious about quantum physics.
This book provides an easy to understand history lesson on the origins of quantum physics, which is perfect for a beginner like me who is curious and wants to learn more, but doesn't have a science background.
Many probably know the thought experiment known as Schrödinger's cat. (Spoiler alert.) Now I understand what an entangled particle is, and I know that if you have one entangled particle in the box and one outside the box, you can understand what's happening in the box without actually opening it. Cool.
Apparently, I will also now have an easier time understanding the 2nd Dr. Strange movie, once the version of me in this universe gets around to seeing it.
The narrator has a great voice, too.

Significantly Informative!

I wish I had this audiobook while in undergraduate. The concept of physics terrified me and I barley got through the courses. An audiobook such as this would have served as a fantastic resource. The book is simplistic in the description of the subject matter, easy to follow and simply a pleasure to listen to. Highly recommend this audiobook to any aspiring physicist.

Knowing Quantum Physics

This is a step by step a guide that breaks down the complicated concepts of quantum physics. Before I had no idea what it entails until I listened to this book.It is ver informative as the author has done a good job in breaking down the jaw breaking language and terms to easy to understand. I enjoyed learning about the theories with little mastering of the arithmetic.

Straight forward

Lot of new vocabulary defined understandably with logical order. Appreciated details about the meltdown of the nuclear reactor

Loved the history and the details.

It was great to read about the history and evolving theories. He provided solid proof of the equations, just enough to get me to research them further.
Awesome book.

Things are a bit clearer now.

The PDF wasn’t referenced at all. Other than that there is nothing to be said. I enjoyed listening.

Knowledge finally at my fingertips

Over the years I have read books about Quantum Physics because I've been highly intrigued by this theory. However, I always ended up incredibly overwhelmed and confused after only a few pages, leaving me feeling like this topic was beyond my comprehension grasp. Well, I'm so pleased I've finally found a simple guide outlining the most important elements of Quantum Physics, enough to properly wrap my head around this subject and gain a clearer image of its origin and what it consists of. I know I'll be recommending this listen to a few friends!

Simple Guide

I have always been baffled by the mysteries of Quantum Physics. This book will give Isaac Newton a run for his money. Very informative, and I learned some very interesting things about how our world operates around physics. The step-by-step revelations were simple to understand for someone who does not know physics well.

Science broken down into easy to understand pieces

You cannot always say that learning physics is fun but in this book, I had a great time learning all sorts of new things. I thoroughly enjoyed chapter 11 which discussed Einstein trying to disprove Newton about gravity. I really like the stories in the book because I feel like I was able to absorb the information so much easier. Chapter 14 was also fun in learning the dark side of the force. All I could think of was Star Wars lol. But learning about dark forces and the galaxies was really interesting to learn about. I don't know much about Physics but I love listening to books while I work. The author has obviously done their research to produce a fantastic book. The narrator was great to listen to and kept me engaged. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn more about quantum physics and learn some fun facts and listen to historical stories of the scientists that we all know and love.
