Great short stories

This book offers several great short stories which expands the RWBY franchise. Still, you can enjoy it even if this is your first taste of RWBY.

Amazing

This book is the reason I have audible lol So glad I got it in audiobook form. The only thing that would have made it better is if Shannon McCormick had read some of the stories instead of just the little “Ozpin’s notes” at the end of the stories but the voice actress who did read them did a great job regardless. Also, it was nice hearing some side stories that truly engulf you in the culture and world of RWBY. I hope they do more of these.

wonderful listen

After the absolute cliffhanger at the end of volume 8 of RWBY I was hoping that by listening to the tales of Remnant would maybe drop a few clues. but I guess I will have to wait for volume 9 to see if any of these tales relate to what's happening now for team RWBY.

Wasn't expecting this

Honestly, this was astounding. Hearing the narrator grow more so into this series is awesome. At face value, it's nice to hear more about the lore of RWBY, even if it's just the fairy tales. However aside from the underling messages of fairy tales, there's a second one in some of them. Avoiding spoilers, you can almost hear Ozpin's genuine feelings towards some of the tales. I would love to listen to more from either of the narrators, specifically in this series.

Side note... didn't realize this came out yesterday and what a pleasant surprise it has been. Bravo

Nice casual read

very good as a standalone in an unknown world, however watching the show will increase your enjoyment of this book tenfold.
It reminded me of a book of stories I used to own as a kid.

Far Exceeded Expectations

I'm a huge fan of RWBY and have enjoyed the previous 2 E.C. Meyers RWBY Books. However I was a bit skeptical on how this would be, seeing as it was just a bunch of short stories/fairy tales.
Hearing Shannon McCormick narrate Ozpins parts and lending his perspective really strung the stories together for me.
This was supposed to be a in between filler book for me as I waited for another book in a series to arrive on pre-order.
Instead I ended up thoroughly enjoying every moment of the listen and was disappointed when it was over.
Writing was Great and both Narrators were as well. Maybe for someone who hadn't watched RWBY this would be an odd book, but I loved it. Easy 5 Stars.
