About this listen
A thrilling chapter audiobook about a brother, a sister, and a mysterious scroll that hurtles them through time to the world's last days before the Great Flood. The Secret of the Hidden Scrolls series follows siblings Peter and Mary and their dog, Hank, as they discover ancient scrolls that transport them back to key moments in biblical history.
In Race to the Ark, Peter, Mary, and their faithful dog, Hank, travel back to the time of Noah. With only seven days to solve the riddle of the scroll and escape the impending flood, Peter, Mary, and Hank must race to help Noah and his family finish the ark. Along their journey, Peter and Mary evade a group of young ruffians and ultimately come face-to-face with the Dark Ruler, an evil man who reminds them of a snake they met in the Garden of Eden.
The enthralling action will have children glued to their seats listening to this rambunctious Bible-based story. Ages six to nine.

Story
Told from four-year-old Laura's point of view, this story begins in 1871 in a little log cabin on the edge of the Big Woods of Wisconsin. Laura lives in the little house with her pa, her ma, her sisters Mary and Carrie, and their trusty dog, Jack. Pioneer life is sometimes hard for the family, since they must grow or catch all their own food as they get ready for the cold winter. But it is also exciting as Laura and her family celebrate Christmas with homemade toys and treats, do the spring planting, bring in the harvest, and make their first trip into town.

It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Story
Fifty-five years ago, Helen L. Taylor took John Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress and simplified the vocabulary and concepts for young listeners while keeping the storyline intact. The result was a classic in itself, which has now sold over 600,000 copies. It's both a simple adventure story and a profound allegory of the Christian journey through life, a delightful listen with a message kids ages six to 12 can understand and remember. A new look for today's children enlivens the journey to the Celestial City.

Story
The Vanderbeekers have always lived in the brownstone on 141st Street. It's practically another member of the family. So when their reclusive, curmudgeonly landlord decides not to renew their lease, the five siblings have 11 days to do whatever it takes to stay in their beloved home and convince the dreaded Beiderman just how wonderful they are. And all is fair in love and war when it comes to keeping their home. A modern classic in the making reminiscent of the Penderwicks series.

Story
This hilarious, heartfelt, and soaring adventure will delight fans of The Goonies and Indiana Jones. Performed as a 1930s radio drama, it’s bursting with humor for all ages, orchestral scoring, and some of the most talented voices on Broadway. When their ace pilot parents (and adorable puppy) mysteriously disappear over the Pacific, the Flamingo Sisters - Flo, Faye, and Franny - escape the clutches of their evil Uncle Freidrich (who believes girls should never pilot aeroplanes) and join a flying circus.

Fun Adventure with a Biblical Historical Worldview
My children (ages 3 and 5) love The Secret of the Hidden Scrolls series. It is similar to The Magic Tree House series by Mary Pope Osbourne, but this series is rooted in adventures based on historical stories with a biblical worldview. This book is full of imagination of what it would be like during the days of Noah. This is a great addition to an audiobook collection or even in paperback as a read-aloud for the family.

Amazing!
This is the 2nd book my grandson and I listened to and it's as amazing as the first! It's kinda funny but I know the story and how it ends but a couple of times I was on the end of my seat lol. Seeing it through the kids eyes adds a whole new dimension. I'm off to find the next book in the series.
