Telegraphed Train Wreck

I liked the first 6 books, but book 9 just killed the series for me. I can’t find Rachel’s decision to spend time with an old flame while completely ignoring someone her heart supposedly pulls her to and who she had been pining for, to be believable. I read for enjoyment and this book ended that for me with this series. I agree with another readers comment that creating a female Jack Reacher isn’t working. I can’t say I was surprised, it was fully telegraphed, you knew it was as coming, which bled off the enjoyment through the last 2 books (8&9)
