It seems like McGill will be changing sides soon. Graves might be playing double Agent. This was a good book setting up the next two or three to come. Looking forward to it.

I can listen to the exploits of James McGill over and over. I like that he has progressed as a character along with several others in the books. Mark Boyett is exceptional

I am definitely enjoying the series. But it’s pretty predictable regarding who survives and who’s the permanent dead. Overall a good book enjoyable to listen to and narrator is always on point with his reading. But the story really does remind me of other past books

Latest books seems to have dropped the the galactics power struggle for who will be her next emperor and earths rise in its standing in galactics politics.

In one scene the protagonist loses his helmet, in the next he scratches his chin through an open faceplate. What does the proofreader do professionally?

it's so much fun that the author can still add new life to a long-running series. one can starting to see the arc turn a little bit. leaving us to wonder where this is going
