Publisher's summary

He’s no angel, but he’s got everything she needs.

He was minding his own business on Earth when a beautiful sorceress summoned him to defend a backwater village from demonic raiders. He’s lost his gun, his family, and even his name, but it’s not the first fight he’s been in, and it won’t be the last.

The sorceress isn’t happy - she expected an ancient goddess of war. Instead, she got some random guy who’s halfway decent with a sword. But there’s more to him than good looks and a big stick, and if he can harness this new world’s magic, the town of Foulwater might just be glad he stuck around.

First, though, he’ll have to get a busty elf buccaneer to sober up, sail through monster-infested waters, kick a bunch of lava monsters in the face, and plunder the submerged basement of a demon king. It’s a race against time before the raiders return to burn down the village, and their deadliest enemy might already be inside the walls.

Disclaimer: Raider Annihilation is a steamy isekai harem adventure like no other. Our hero isn't shy and neither are the women of Caranja. There is sex, swearing, smoking, drug use, and goat-milk beer. Enter a spicy new world from Aaron Crash, the best-selling author of the American Dragon series and The Princesses of the Ironbound.

Caranja Fury

Great first book in a new series in the same universe as the American Dragon books.

I like the MC having to relearn about his abilities after his summoning.

My only complaint is that he starts getting some of his abilities back too quickly. I would have like to see him only have his partial form for this book and save his full dragon form for a tense moment in a future book.

Drokharis

If he is Steven's boy he's got nothing to worry about. Steven would tear down heaven and earth to find a member of his family.

loved the story

I loved the concept, the story, and the characters. Aaron always creates interesting worlds and populates them with fun and interesting characters and this is no different.

The fall down for this was the performance. I've never heard any of Alex's other narrations, but I have to be blunt: this was painful to get through. Notable pauses mid sentence where you could almost see him trying to find his spot on the script. Flat delivery of dialog between characters that felt incredibly unnatural. It was the dialog that really killed it for me. The narration was ok, but anytime someone was talking... I'm sorry. If he narrates the next book, I'll probably just end up reading it.

I hate leaving anything less than 5 stars, but I just couldn't.

Interesting

I was lucky enough to win this book. For people who don't like a harem theme or hot scenes that are NSFW this book is not for you. For everyone else: despite this the world has some interesting world building, plot twists and characters with some depth. give it a try.

Awesome successor to the American Dragon Series

I am a great fan of Aaron's American Dragon series so when I had a chance to listen to this book, I figured it would be a nice departure from the last series and it was. I enjoyed the MC and how he interacted with the cantankerous summoner and the very friendly pirate elf. I had felt there was some echoes from American Dragon while I was listening to the book and man I wasn't disappointed. I'll let you discover it and while having read American Dragon will be helpful listening to this book, it isn't required and can stand on its own, thankfully.

I'm looking forward to the 2nd volume and I hope that the MC's adventures continue to be just as fun as the last series.

so to be honest i almost dropped this one because i really didn't like both of the women but they grew on me at the end and the only reason i didn't drop it was because is connected to the same world of princesses of the Ironbound and that axel is the son of steven

Better than Denver and a great setup

Reading: The narrator was great. He reads at a good pace and there aren't deep breaths all the time.

The world: Is well thought out and the naming feels very impressive. My theory is that all of the author's books are connected and I can't wait to see where this is going to go.

The MC is very balanced, he is well developed and feels like a MC, not a side character. I prefer over powered characters but him not being so fits this story well.

I really enjoyed the best girl, the busty elf. She is well written, BA, a perve and has an amazing rack.

Adult content: This area is a bit lacking for my taste. The way it was written was very classy and well put together but there could have been more for sure.

Only complaint was a character introduced towards the end needed more time and should have had maybe a few chapters for them.

tl:Dr If you are into books with a good story line, a balanced MC, little bit adult fun this is for you!

Fun twist in a familiar theme

The summoned hero to a land needing help sounds familiar but the hero has never been summoned to a world like this. Aaron Crash always does a good job with his world creation, plot construction and adding some romance to the world. Alex Knox does a great job bringing the characters to life.

great start to this series

unique characters,. the fighting and intimate parts were well done. the narrator did a great job. voice inflection was dead on and I think the story flowed great. he doesnt sound like a bad trans with female voices. (oops. excuse my lack of PC). when you just listen and dont even notice the narrator was successful. Thanks. keep the story going I have no clue where you are going.
