Inspiring messages concerning the art of modern parenting.

I would suggest that this is a must read not only for parents, but for anyone curious about how certain individuals can take the World by storm, using imagination and putting their dreams into action.
The author, who happens to be a fabulous narrator, articulates conclusions drawn ,after interviewing entrepreneurs as well as their parents from around the World. These fascinating accounts filled with valuable life lessons, are compelling as well as entertaining. A clear distinction between successful individuals and the entrepreneur become apparent, as there are unique yet basic mindsets stemming from the childhood experience. This is where a kind of minimal parental guidance comes in to play. Children are given choices, freedom, and responsibilities. They are nurtured as opposed to being coddled. They are encouraged to follow passions, to work through and grow from adversity, to be creative, to travel, and to work or volunteer within diverse populations. This brings out a sense of confidence as children are given credibility and know that they are trusted as well as respected. Even in households where tradition and religious doctrine are practiced , children continue to develop creative behavioral strengths that supersede perceived limitations or challenges.
Through these interviews, I have come to recognize the common denominators of how these parents contributed to the success of their children. Woven in to the spectrum of social institutions are these important messages.
I am truly inspired by this book. Raising a mentally healthy, happy, loving, resilient, creative, driven, compassionate and socially responsible individual can only make this world a better place. It might even save our planet!

Outstanding

Every parent should listen to this period.

My favorite part is the last 30 seconds, listening to her two sons small talk.

Made me imagine how my children will grow up to be.
