I never planned on going back to Hung Island, Georgia. Ever.

I was a top-notch Were agent for the secret paranormal Council and happily living in Chicago, where I had everything I needed - a gym membership, season tickets to the Cubs, and Dwayne - my gay Vampyre best friend. Going back now would mean facing the reason I'd left, and I'd rather chew my own paw off than deal with Hank. Hank the Tank Wilson was the six-foot-three, obnoxious, egotistical, perfect-assed, best-sex-of-my-life Werewolf who cheated on me and broke my heart. At the time I did what any rational woman would do. I left in the middle of the night with a suitcase, big plans, and enough money for a one-way bus ticket to freedom. I vowed to never return. But here I am, trying to wrap my head around what has happened to some missing Weres without wrapping my body around Hank. I hope I don't have to eat my words and my paw.

This novella originally appeared in the Three Southern Beaches collection released in July 2014. This is an extended version of that story.

Robyn Peterman is a fantastic writer! Great stories with humor on the side. Romance and mystery who would love these fantastic tales. I’ve also been listening to the Hot Damn series and the Magic and Mayhem series.
I’m so so glad this series is part of the Romance package. Especially since life as always troughs it’s little curves at us and I can’t buy the way I use to be able to.
Thanks Robyn for continuing to have your books available on Audible and this whole 4 book series (not just one book) as part of the Romance Package. I truly appreciate it. It helps me a lot. On those days when I just can’t concentrate enough to read. Or my anxiety is just too high. Listening to a story while I work on a project actually helps me take my mind off of everything else!!
Big kudos for Hollie Jackson her reading and storytelling voice really added something special to the story. A great narrator can really enhance a story!!!

This book has a great story, some steamy sexual tension, and that amazing comedy factor that I adore about this author's books! I think she could make cooking eggs funny. Even with a serious plot, I can always count on feeling light-hearted and happy when I listen to a Robyn Peterman book! It's like a breath of fresh air, especially in the worst year ever.

The narration was excellent, clear and easy to understand at all times.

This is a great start to what appears to be a fun series. It is laugh out loud funny! If you like cheeky heroines, gorgeous werewolves, gay vampire best friends, this is a series to try. Hollie Jackson did an excellent job as the reader. She certainly brought Robyn's characters to life. Good job!

this book is not for you if you're looking for intelligent, well thought out plots and cliff hanger scenes.
if you're however, looking for something light and fluffy to pass the time, this book will suffice. it's fluffy enough that I'm sure to get the next in the series - the sheer incongruity of the plot is very good for clearing my mind of serious and weight matters! Be warned though: if you're OCD about sequence and believability and actually want meaty characters in a book, there are numerous opportunities in the book that wil cause you to grunt in disbelief or tear your hair out!
