I so enjoyed this book! It offered such encouragement and practical application for finding quiet in times and places where it seems there is none.

Kindest and gentlest reminder to turn back toward quiet

Throughout this book, I found myself wishing for a more poetic touch. The complex vocabulary made it challenging for me to fully immerse myself in the text. However, one line stood out to me profoundly: "In the quiet, it doesn't have to be joy and full of insight—it can be grief." I wish I could quote it perfectly because it resonated so deeply.

Although I struggle with grammar and expression, I have to say that the final two chapters were life-changing. They brought everything together in a way that profoundly impacted me.

Breathtaking! I know I will listen to this book many times, getting to know its messages and insights as a friend and companion. Much of it affirmed my own walk as a young adult, then wife, then mother, now grandmother and how the Holy Spirit accompanied me along the way. It also called me to trusting more deeply. This book will be unique to each reader, and a blessing to all.

Listening to Sarah Clarkson was a delight. To hear her read her own insights and discoveries was soothing and helpful. It was a calming and helpful experience. So much so, that I was shocked when the book drew to an end. Already? I wish it could go on and on. No guilt from her words, freedom.

This book was phenomenal from start to finish. I loved being able to hear Sarah read this herself. It moved me in so many ways. Evoked deep discussion with my husband and several others. It gave me an entirely new outlook on quiet, creating a life with more quiet in it, and how to work out my own convictions and longing in this world. I’ve recommended this book to countless others. All I can say is everyone should read this. It’s truly a work of art ❤️

Reclaiming Quiet is an insightful work of wisdom, born of pain and hardship gradually shaped into beauty. I found myself smiling often, nodding my head in agreement, and wanting to mark a certain phrasing of an idea or truth that touched me thoroughly. Such a good reminder that beauty is often born of suffering, not from its absence. The very presence of God abides in those hard times in listening and growth. Sarah brings an important reminder that the beauty and healing that comes from moments of quiet, not in grand plans of effort, but in receiving it as a gift. This was my first listen to this author - with many more to follow, I’m sure!
