About this listen

Having successfully defended Terana Province from the monster horde and his family from the malevolence of Ollivan Harling, Dare turns his attention to his upcoming trip to Bastion's capitol to petition for knighthood.

He and his loved ones have put a lot of hard work and planning into preparing his bid to join the Knights of the Northern Wall, protectors of the region. But even sponsored by Baroness Marona Arral, he faces an uphill battle attempting to join the nobility. In theory knighthood is available to all who meet the requirements, but in practice his fate is in the hands of the Lord Judges.

Including Ollivan's uncle Valiant Harling, Duke of Bastion, and his cronies, who have no reason to love Dare.

Still, Dare's determined to do all he can to succeed. Knighthood would elevate the women he loves to his noble status once they become his wives, and allow their children to be born into the nobility. An important step to providing a better future for his family.

Be aware: Redoubt is part of a harem series and features numerous, explicit romantic scenes involving multiple partners. It is intended for adults.

Dare needs a spine

The whole situation with Ilya isn’t like I get there and her breaking it off but the amount of disrespect that he lets the Marshall and her get away with and doing that shit on his fucking property. Fuck no like I get he wants to take care of “his kid.” but if it was me, I would’ve kicked her to the fucking Marshall let Marshall handle it situation if he wants to be with the disrespectful woman like that to pull that shit on his property in his face and act like she’s gonna be part of her part of his family and then turn around and then say, but I’m not gonna join your family, mine games are emotional and mental abuse there needs to throw up spying when it comes to the women and not let them walk all overhim

NTR BULLSHIT!!!

The whole situation with the cat girl and the golden shower dom play with the maid was enough to ruin this book for me.

Well done!

Another great book for the series. I enjoyed the quests to become Protector and the drama of a challenging knighthood trial. I think everyone handled the situation with Ilya (?) the cat girl quite well, unlike several other reviewers.

Good Story line but....

The over all story line has been fun to listen through however the pee play was just to far for me and turning almost a full chapter to it was a bit to far and then having a dichotomy of a main character who shows strength in face of authority and fights against injustice then rolls over when is belittled for standing up someone while in the course of taking care of his family.
