Great racing read

Great read and entertainment from Dick Francis as usual. Not just the racing but a look into another profession or skill wrapped around a story that keeps you guessing all the way

We’ll crafted, great narration.

This book is great especially if you enjoy stories about English country life. Well written, interesting plot with just the right touches of character development and intrigue. Good one!

Fascinating Mystery

Dick Francis researches very well. I learned a lot about photography while being propelled along a complicated route to a surprise in the end.

Reading Dick Francis is like a good vacation - always pleasurable

Francis’s main characters are just plain fun - just enough flaws to make them human, kind and thoughtful, noble. The villains aren’t carbon copies of each other. And I always learn something from the subject he’s researched so well.
The narrator is superb.

Another good jockey tail

Listen to this one if only for the photographic knowledge intertwined in the plot.
Another excellent reading performance.
Good twists at the end.

I’m a fan

Second Dick Francis novel - he does an amazing job with a story line pulling together so many parts. Prebble is just as much of a genius in his art of reading the story.

Another great Dick Francis murder mystery!

Ex-jockey Dick Francis wrote mystery novels only about the horse racing world in England. Reflex was published in 1980 in the UK and 1981 in the US. Like all of the other of his many mystery novels, Reflex is an exquisitely written fast paced novel. Jockey Philip Nore is nearing the end of his career when he decides he must investigate a murder. Simon Prebble is the perfect narrator for Reflex.
