Intense

Upfront honesty: I did not finish this book. In fact, I didn't get very far into it. I am grateful to the author for gifting me a copy at my request, but the time was not right for me to listen. This seemed to me an intense, involved story, that demands the listener's full attention, and I tried to listen to it at a time when I was largely preoccupied. I believe for me, at least, it might be better to read this in print. But the narration was well done, and the story interested me enough that I believe I will, indeed, return to it at a later time.
